Our Visit

Hello, Stranger is a cafe located near Hapjeong Station, famous for its cozy and warm atmosphere. The sign with a white background was very eye-catching. The cafe is on a semi-basement floor, so when you enter the cafe you'll feel like you are going down a bit.

If you go inside the cafe, you can notice that the cafe is a rectangular shape. The ceiling of this cafe is a bit low and the lighting is a little dark, thus it makes cozy and serene atmosphere.

Not only there are comfortable sofas face to face with each other, but they are also equipped to sit side by side, looking at the wall or looking at the window. This kind of relaxed atmosphere is one of the charms this cafe has.

The cafe is very quiet and serene, so you won't be disturbed if you prefer a serene time of relaxation. As this cafe has some warm and snuggly atmosphere, it is already popular among couples.

There is another secret place you can't see from the outside. Hello, Stranger has a unique structure compared to other cafes.

We ordered the signature menu Banana Pancake, Brownie, Pistachio Almond Frappe, Strawberry Latte, and Vienna Coffee (Einspanner).

The banana pancake is served with syrup, whipped cream, and bananas on a pancake. The pancake itself had a very fluffy texture and it was delicious! It was a lot bigger than it seems, so I got very full after eating this whole pancake.

The brownie isn't a dense kind of texture. However, there were a lot of nuts inside so the texture was quite enjoyable! My tiredness just vanished as I had a bite of this brownie with whipped cream on top. Eating this brownie with ice cream on the side is also another way to eat it!

I had Pistachio almonds frappe, Strawberry latte, and Vienna coffee for drinks. Overall, the drinks tasted above average! When I look around the other tables, I saw that many people ordered the Vietnamese Coffee. If you like Vietnamese Coffee, you should give it a try!

Hello, Stranger opens at 8:30 am on weekdays, so it is great for drinking coffee before starting your trip. Take a rest in this peaceful, cozy, and warm cafe during your stay in Korea.
