There are so many makeup techniques and fashion tips these days, but don’t you often get confused about what style actually suits you?
You might think knowing your personal color would solve everything, but in reality the proportions of your face shape and features, your body type, and your overall image all need to be considered together before a truly flattering style comes together.
Rather than following visible trends, I felt it's more important to accurately understand my personal image and direction.
So this time I visited All Beauty Studio to get Personal image consulting conducted directly by a top industry stylist.
I'll walk you through each step of the process now 🙇🏻♀️

All Beauty Studio | Our Visit

Today I visited All Beauty Studio with a friend to check our overall image, including Personal Color diagnosis, Body type analysis, and makeup.
I often worry about what styles suit me when choosing makeup or clothes, so I visited to check whether my current image really suits me.
First, I was given an overview of the consulting session that would take place today.
Image consulting isn't just about changing your appearance, it's about organizing a consistent personal image to boost how effectively you communicate and relate to others.
After that, we spent time confirming the client’s personal preferences, like what kind of image they’re aiming for and which moods or styles they prefer.
They asked about my job and daily environment as needed, which helped set the criteria for how to shape my image going forward.

The consultation starts with filling out a checklist to identify the image and needs I want.
You can check items based on the atmosphere or style you usually prefer, and then take notes on important points yourself while listening to the explanations.
While the diagnosis was in progress, they went through each item that suited me and checked them off one by one, so it was easy to follow the flow of the consultation.
Next, the Personal Color diagnosis was conducted.
Instead of just choosing colors that suit you, they analyze colors in detail, focusing on lightness and saturation.
For example, she explained that yellow tones tend to have higher brightness, while purple tones are relatively darker, so they affect the face’s impression differently.
She also explained whether your colors are clearer or more muted, how that changes the best saturation, and how to choose textures and color combinations for clothing and makeup.
She recommended coordinating colors that suit you well near the face, like ties, scarves, and tops.
Even colors that don’t suit you can work if you use them on bottoms or accessories instead of tops close to your face, so I felt this was really practical styling advice!
'All Beauty Studio' is a space with floor-to-ceiling windows that lets in plenty of natural light.
Personal Color diagnosis is more accurate when done in natural light, because you can better observe how skin tone and colors react. This place uses natural light instead of relying on artificial lighting, so the diagnosis can be more precise.
This is a space set up well for Personal Color diagnostics, with an environment that naturally lets you compare skin tone changes and color reactions.
Next, the Body type analysis explanation continued.
The stylist explained that silhouettes suitable for body types are divided into three categories: straight, hourglass, and A-line, and also described how the best clothing shapes and fabrics differ for each body type.
They also gave examples of celebrities with typical body types and explained how those celebrities style themselves to balance their figures, which I thought would be helpful to refer to going forward.
Body type analysis didn't stop at simply classifying my shape, it proceeded by going over my body's proportions and features one by one.
They checked things I don't usually notice, like whether my wrists and ankles are slim, the length ratio between my upper and lower body, and the balance between my shoulders and hips.
While measuring with a tape is important, they explained that the process of feeling the bone structure and its flow by touch is crucial.
The director had completed a specialized license training in Japan related to body type analysis, so I could tell they made quick judgments based on a lot of experience, which made me trust the results more.
In the editor's case, I was diagnosed with an 'hourglass' body type!
This body type has a long neck and a narrow waist, so they said outfits that emphasize the waistline suit it best.
The core of Image consulting is ultimately clarifying which image suits me best.
The most important part, they say, is the facial analysis.
They checked everything in person, from the size and length of my eyes, nose, and mouth, to my facial proportions, and whether features felt more curved or straight.
They closely examined my face to determine whether my facial outline is more straight or curved, and to assess which area—upper, middle, or lower—dominates my facial proportions, then gave a comprehensive evaluation of my structure and overall impression.
In particular, the director is a specialist qualified to issue ICPA licenses, and because they have so much experience with face-analysis-focused Image consulting, their judgments and explanations felt quick and clear.
So I naturally came to trust the results more, and the whole consulting process felt cohesive and persuasive.
Next, we checked the neckline.
We tried different diagnostic drapes one by one to see which neckline suited the face shape, neck line, and overall proportions best.
You can directly compare how round, V, and square necklines change your overall look, so this will be a helpful reference when choosing clothes in the future.
Not only with diagnostic fabrics, but I also tried on actual collar designs and necklines with decorations to check my facial image.
I held up collar-style fabrics or decorations close to the face to compare them directly, analyzing the face shape, the length of the neck, and how they harmonized with the jawline.
It was easy to understand because the process let me immediately see the impression created when actually worn.
I realized that not only the shape of the neckline, but also its size and decorative details have a big impact on the face's image.
Next, a pattern diagnosis was carried out.
We compared how different levels of pattern boldness, scale, and density change the face image by holding actual fabric up to the face.
By holding various patterned fabrics close to my face, I could immediately see whether a pattern highlighted my features or got lost against them.
Our editor, who doesn't have particularly prominent facial features, found that small, orderly patterns like checks or argyle suit their face better than bold floral or large-scale patterns.
Even with the same color palette, I noticed that the size and complexity of a pattern can change the overall impression a lot, and I think I'll be able to pick patterns that suit me more easily when choosing clothes from now on.
After the pattern diagnosis, we proceeded with makeup!
Rather than rushing the base, they worked by checking the face’s contours and skin texture one by one, applying thin layers multiple times.
They adjusted even the brush pressure and the angle of their hand to make everything look as smooth and even as possible~!
The consultant said I suit a feminine mood best, and the color makeup was done to match the image refined during the consultation.
The process of applying the eyelashes and filling in the eyeliner was done very carefully step by step, so my overall look felt naturally more defined.
Even without heavy changes, your facial features stand out and your overall look appears much more polished.
Doesn't it look like the atmosphere changes instantly at first glance?
I really felt how much your impression can change depending on the direction and the touch of the makeup.
The results were noticeably different from when I do it at home alone, so I really felt why professional makeup is necessary!
When my makeup was nearly finished, hair styling was done at the same time.
They adjusted every detail to match my face shape and overall image, including the volume of the bangs, the side lines, and the direction of the end curls.
Just changing my hair made my whole image look completely different!
With the makeup plus hair added, you can really see the vibe change at a glance, right?
You can definitely feel the difference when you compare before and after.
The editor, who has an hourglass figure, needs emphasis on the waistline, and the styling really nailed that point, making the overall proportions look much more balanced.
The look suited the editor with a feminine mood while highlighting the figure’s best features!
My friend usually prefers a comfortable style, like a sweater paired with sweatpants.
The diagnosis showed a straight body type, which suits styles without emphasis on the upper body, favoring a unified look between top and bottom.
They said that tops with a modest neckline look much cleaner and cooler than designs that cover the neck, so I focused the outfit around that point!
Compared with my previous style, I definitely felt that outfits tailored to my body shape that emphasized upper-body proportions and the neckline made my overall look much sharper.
Another friend usually wears comfortable clothes like sweatpants.
Recently, after starting my job, I wanted a neat, tidy image that wasn’t too casual.
They analyze your current style and vibe based on the image you want, then suggest items and combinations you can use right away in everyday life.
By pairing casual pants with a pure and classic top, doesn't it look comfortable yet neat?
'All Beauty Studio' has a strength in pinpointing realistic directions that suit who you are now, rather than pushing for drastic changes!
After the consulting session, there are several photo spots set up where you can capture your new look!
You can take unforgettable photos in the mirror area with a chandelier, the space where flowers are included, and the softly lit stairwell with mood lighting~!
The flow goes from the diagnosis straight through to the photoshoot, so the whole experience is organized as one seamless process!
Not only do you get information through the consulting, it’s also great that you can document your changed image.

Today I received consultations at All Beauty Studio, starting with a Personal Color diagnosis, followed by Facial analysis, Body type analysis, and makeup!
I was always confused about which styles suit me, but I was able to sort it out all at once through a consultation at All Beauty Studio.
Rather than creating a new image, I especially liked that it clarified my original self and pointed out directions I could apply in daily life right away.
The director, with 30 years of experience, conducted the consultation personally, and as an expert qualified to issue ICPA licenses, every explanation felt trustworthy.
If you want to find the most natural image for who you are now, I recommend getting a proper consultation at All Beauty Studio!
