Personal Color

Today, I visited the 'Cocory Color.' in Hongdae for personal color analysis. I really liked the clean interior as first impression.

At the entrance, various objects related to personal color, like drapes, are displayed.

You can easily check your personal color yourself first by using the kiosk in the store.

Starting with what I think my skin color is and the most common color in my wardrobe. If you answer various questions, the results will come out!

I was surprised by the detailed results from a quick and simple test! I'm looking forward to seeing if the analysis results will be similar. 

Before starting the analysis, I filled out a simple form on Google Forms and submitted it.

The test began with an explanation of what personal color is, followed by selecting colors I like and colors that seem similar to my personality. I answered various questions, and it was fascinating that almost all were unified as the 'summer' color!

The results derived at each step were directly recorded in the blanks of the result sheet as we progressed.

Next, we conducted skin color measurement using a machine developed by Cocory.

You can check the brightness, yellowness, and redness of the skin to distinguish between warm tones and cool tones. I was able to trust it completely because it was verified based on objective numbers.

Now, I will officially use the drape to receive personal color coaching. It's not necessary to have a bare face during coaching, but it's better to proceed with the lip color removed. Also, I recommend wearing a top without a collar.

We tried on various colored fabrics while checking with the mirror in front of us. She quickly and accurately determined which color suited well. I could feel the expertise from the way she quickly checked things.

They also helped me find colors that suit me well for each season, in addition to the main color that suits me best.

So, my main color turned out to be 'summer pale', which is a cool tone with a light gray! I liked how it was organized on the magnetic board for easy viewing.

It's time to check the makeup colors that suit me well.

She coached me on which colors suited me by directly applying the lip bar and makeup kit to my lips and face.

The coaching on overall aspects, including matching shades, hair color, and accessory color, has been completed!

In the final step, we sat down again, and go over the analysis content.

In addition to the verbal explanation, they provide a detailed color chart that you can carry with you and refer to when shopping for clothes or cosmetics!

In addition, they showed me a makeup style that suits me using celebrity photos as an example. It was easier to understand by checking through the photos.

It's not just about recommending cosmetics, please also review the makeup products you are using. For a cosmetic check, it's recommended to bring the products you mainly use in advance!

They check each color cosmetic on paper to see the color. Overall, I was surprised to hear that this wasn't the best color for me! 

They also sent detailed coaching results and images with information about suitable makeup products to your email. For lip products, it was helpful for shopping as detailed information about the brand and color number was provided!

Personal Color - Body Type& Makeup & Analysis

This time, I've tried the 'Face & Body Type Analysis '' which allows you to receive an analysis of your face and body at once. 

There are three options: Face & Body Analysis, Makeup & Features Analysis, and Fashion Color & Styling. With the Face & Body Analysis, you can receive coaching on your overall fashion by analyzing your face shape, features, and body type to find suitable clothing styles, eyewear shapes, and accessory forms. 

Also, through the Makeup & Features Analysis, you can discover your unique personality and charm while finding balance and harmony in your makeup. 

You’ll get specific makeup coaching and product recommendations by analyzing lines and shapes.

Finally, with Fashion Color & Styling, you can get personalized hairstyle recommendations and makeup coaching that complements the balance of your features. 

Personal balance analyzes your face shape, features, and body type to receive coaching on suitable clothing styles, glasses shapes, accessory types, and other fashion-related aspects.

Before starting, they measured the detailed figures of my body and face parts. Thanks to the bright and friendly atmosphere, I was able to receive an analysis without any burden.

They proceeded with an analysis of the face shape based on the measured values. There are a total of 6 types of face shapes, and the features of the facial features are divided into 4 types. Next, we also looked at hairstyles that match each face type.

After completing the measurement, I sat in front of the mirror to accurately receive coaching for my type using the tool. For an objective judgment, I put on a white cloth and tied my hair neatly.

First, we checked the eyebrow shape. I tried on different eyebrow shapes directly on my face to find the most suitable one.

We also checked the glasses by holding them directly up to my face. I always thought my face didn't suit glasses, but after trying on various frames, I was happy to find a shape that suited me.

We proceeded similarly with the earrings and necklaces. For earrings, they checked the pendant's shape and size in detail, and for necklaces, they looked at which type suits the chain's thickness, material, and length.

In addition to accessories, we also checked which neckline or pattern type of the top suits best. It was fun because there were many kinds of patterns available.

Finally, after checking the pelvis type, the final body type was identified for me. My hip type was straight!

This is how the style that suits me is summarized at a glance.

Now, in the final stage, I'll use the balance graph developed by Cocory to select the perfect type for me.

I explored various items to find out which style and type suit me best. I selected my best type based on the most frequently derived words from the graph. As a result, in my case, the keywords Gorgeous, Sharp, Innocent were derived.

Based on this, they recommended various clothing styles in line with my personal taste. Seeing that all the example photos that match my type are exactly to my taste, I could tell that the coaching results were accurate.
