The original walls were demolished during the Japanese Colonial Period but parts of it were reimbursed and are still preserved in great condition to this day. Inwang Mountain is a small mountain where part of the Seoul Fortress Walls runs along. This is a famous hiking trail in Seoul as it is easy and has an impressive view of downtown Seoul. On this tour, you will also visit Seochon, the neighborhood located on the base of Inwang Mountain, where there are trendy shops and cafes!

Pickup service is available only at hotels in central Seoul. If the location of the hotel is too far and pick-up is difficult, we may ask you to come to a designated location to board the bus.
The tour schedule is subject to change depending on traffic conditions on the day.
Children under 24 months are free but extra seats will not be provided.
Each location will be explored on foot so wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
If the tour is joined by 4 people or more, the guide will pick you up in a van, if not, a taxi will be used.
Meals are not included in the tour. Please eat a good breakfast in advance.

This palace was built in the late Joseon Period. It is also called Seojeon because it is the most influenced by Western culture out of the five palaces in Seoul.
Inwang Mountain
Hike up the Inwang Mountain, along the Seoul Fortress Walls. It is a relatively easy hike with a great view of downtown Seoul.
Suseong-dong Valley
Located at the base of Inwang Mountain, Suseong-dong Valley has a beautiful stream that flows down to a small waterfall. This stream is used to cool off during the summer and is a great place to view the fall foliage during the fall.
Seochon
Seochon is located on the west side of Gyeongbokgung Palace. It has a calm atmosphere with trendy restaurants and cafes.
Tongin Market
Tongin Market is known for its Dosirak, where you get a plastic bento plate to fill up with whatever street food you want for only 5,000 KRW! You pay 5,000 KRW and receive coins that you pay the vendors in the market.
Sejong Village Food Street
A whole alley with good eats, right next to Gyeongbokgung Station. From K-barbeque shops, hand-cut noodles, or fresh seafood, it's all at Sejong Village Food Street!
