Our first featured cafe is Tic Tac Toc. Isn't it cute?

The cafe is brightly decorated with a lot of use of the primary colors, and there are many photo zones for those who like to take cute pictures.

The cakes are stacked high and the drinks are made with great care. All menu items are beautifully decorated and come out looking amazing in pictures with the fun backdrop of the cafe itself.

I personally recommend the mousse and earl grey!

Located in an alley in Yeonnam-dong, you can see a cute cafe in a small semi-basement space when you open the door and go inside.

There are various types of bottled milk-based drinks such as black sesame milk, mugwort milk, sweet pumpkin milk, and royal milk tea. There are also cute cookies with characters on them.

You can also enjoy freshly made tiramisu here!

Viva Salon

If you like Pixar and Disney and other cartoon classics, you have to visit Viva Salon in Mapo-gu.

This is both a cafe and shop where you can get cute drinks with faces like pictured above, and also browse their collection of cartoon merch.

If you want to enjoy coffee and do some souvenir shopping, this is a great place to do both!

In addition to cute characters, detailed and impressive works of art can be drawn atop your coffee.

You can even watch the drawing process happen right in front of you!

There are also cute and tasty character scones to enjoy with your coffee.

Next is Seoul Angmusae located in the Seoul Forest area, a place many people line up for.

Desserts are largely divided into three types: kouign-amann, cinnamon roll, and roll cake and each comes in a variety of flavors.

You can purchase various goods as well as picnic supplies in the shop and the packaging is pretty, so they can make nice gifts.

Cafe Amooh is not a very spacious cafe, so it is quieter and a good place to relax on your own.

This place is famous for its Charlie Brown themed drinks and snacks, so be sure to try them if you visit. 

There are frequent changes to the schedule due to COVID-19, so please check their official Instagram to confirm their hours.

Cafe Skön

Cafe Skön is a renovated house turned coffee shop and there are plenty of great seats from the outdoor yard area to the rooftop terrace.

Moist scones and fresh lemon cakes are the main menu items here, and you can also see small accessories that are popular throughout the cafe.

For safety reasons, the rooftop is closed after sunset.

I've introduced you to some places with neat latte art, but for a change of pace, you can check out Yeonhee Coffee's stunning and adorable ades.

You can see Anpanman jellies atop this lemonade and the ice is shaped like Mickey Mouse.

For treats, you can nibble on financiers, canelles, or a creme brûlée.

Disney fans definitely need to check out this place.

This Snoopy cafe in Hongdae is another coffee shop and souvenir store combo.

This place attracts a lot of attention with its cute props at the entrance to the shop.

They offer both coffee and non-coffee drinks, especially soda.

Aside from Snoopy, they are also known for having a lot of Mickey and Toy Story props.

Have you heard of Kakao Friends? The last place on our list is the Kakao Friends shop in Gangnam.

Recently, the Gangnam flagship store reopened after renovations were completed.

On the third floor there is a famous doughnut shop called Knotted, which has become something of a sensation this year.

That brings us to the end of our list of cute character cafes in Seoul.

I feel like I can taste the sweetness of these treats just from looking at all these pictures!
