Rachel's Kitchen Hongdae

Rachel's Kitchen has branches all around Seoul. It's well-known for its beautiful soft baby pink theme and its spongy soufflé.

Most of their seats are available on the second floor. The space feels very light and bright with its big windows which allow for plenty of sunlight to shine through.

There are many lovely corners for you to relax and take pictures.

The cafe is famous for its soufflés so we ordered their Miracle Soufflé (기적의 팬케이크), Strawberry Latte (딸기친구딸기), and an Americano.

The portions are big enough for 2-3 people to share and it was delicious!

Mamma Mia

Although this cafe opened not too long ago, it has already gained a lot of popularity. You have to take a photo outside this eye-catching hot pink exterior!

It also gained a lot of hype after Blackpink Rosé and Girl's Day Hyeri visited.

There's a wide variety of cute desserts that are impossible to resist! Just grab a tray and tongs and pick out your favorites.

The cafe consists of 3 zones. The first floor has indoor and outdoor seating, and the second floor has indoor seating.

We ordered their Carrot Cake, Strawberry Cruffin, and Strawberry Latte!

With its wide range of cute desserts that are just as delicious and its beautiful seating areas, this cafe is definitely worth a visit!

Orange

ARK OF BROTHERS

Their interior is mostly grey and orange, which complement each other very nicely.

The posters on the walls fit perfectly well with their theme which was very cool to see.

There are a variety of drinks that are much cheaper than other cafes in Seoul.

There are other stickers and merchandise made by the cafe that you can purchase as well.

I ordered their signature drink, Sunset Ade and S'more Lotus Cookies! Both look so aesthetically pleasing, right?

PAINT COFFEE

PAINT has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere with its message that reads, "Paint your moment with a cup of coffee."

They stick with their orange theme through ivory-tone walls and wood. The color combination made my heart warm.

They also have their own merchandise and to fit their concept of PAINT, paint supplies are displayed to enhance the interior.

This is their signature Paint Latte and Quattro Cheese Scones! Looks delicious, right?

Yellow

Butter Book

Butter Book is a very popular cafe among locals located near Noksapyeong Station.

Its lemon-colored entrance brightened up my mood and felt like I was in a fairytale!

Although most of their drinks are bottled milk, they are famous for their desserts!

We ordered a Raspberry Doughnut and Black Sesame Ice Cream with a bottle of Milk Tea.

On a score of 10, we rate this cafe a solid 9.5. The desserts and drinks tasted amazing but there was a lack of variety in drinks. Also, since we went quite early in the morning, the desserts weren't fully prepared.

Riverway

This is a small vegetarian cafe run by a Korean and Columbian couple.

There are usually long queues on weekends so we recommend going on a weekday.

The cafe showcases the couple's travel history on its walls which was so beautiful.

We ordered their signature menu Riverway Granola Bowl with a cup of Green Tea Latte.

Cafe Birkin

This cafe is located near Sangsu Station. The reviews are quite high with a score of 4.4 out of 5.0!

Their menu is written in English and Korean so it's convenient to place an order.

We picked the Monster Cookie, Grapefruit Ade, and Sweet Cream Mugwort Latte.

The Monster Cookie is a MUST order item, and the drinks were delicious too.

Green

CAFE KNOTTED

This doughnut franchise is super trendy in Seoul right now!

Not only do they have doughnuts, but they also have loads of other options like cakes, croissants, scones, brownies, and more!

The doughnuts are around 3,000 won each, which is reasonably priced.

We only wished the doughnuts were a bit more flavorful, and the coffee was quite mediocre.

TALK NONSENSE

Hidden away in a small alleyway, you can easily spot this cafe which stands out from the rest.

There are little artistic touches all around the cafe.

It's also pet-friendly and environmentally friendly as well. The cafe aims for zero waste! Our drinks came with a metal straw and reusable green coasters.

CACHI

Cachi is a cafe by day and bar by night where patrons stop by throughout the day, whether it's for a refreshing cup of tea or a glass of wine.

You can even purchase premade flower bouquets or request a design of your preference at the cafe.

When the weather is nice, you can take advantage of its cute outdoor seating area.

We ordered the Passion Fruit and Rose Iced Tea and Strawberry Cheese Cream Croffle which were delicious!

Blue

T(ER)T(RE)

Cafe T(ER)T(RE) is located on top of a hill that's worth the climb for its beautiful view!

You can sit back and relax while enjoying this insane view of the city. You can even see the N Seoul Tower from a distance.

The cafe has a rooftop that doesn't have too many seats but perfect for a nice day out.

We ordered their Butter Croissant and Cinnamon Apple Drink which was quite expensive but worth it in my opinion.

DEEP BLUE LAKE

This cafe also specializes in coffee beans that you can purchase at reasonable prices.

The interior is very trendy and calming. The main colors are black and white, as you can tell, which is a color combination that's known to make people feel relaxed and peaceful.

I ordered their Chocolate Milk and Brownie which wasn't too sweet and satisfied my sweet tooth just right.

This cafe was perfect to re-energize and I recommend it for those who want to go to a peaceful cafe.

Purple

Cafe Monstercat

This is a very cute cafe popular among locals in Korea located near Hongdae Station.

The owner of the cafe is Kwak Tori (곽토리), a popular creator on YouTube.

The cafe only has drinks and no desserts, but if you love cute things and the color purple, you'll be in love as soon as you walk through the doors.

This is their signature menu, Lavender Yogurt Smoothie and Jasmine Grapefruit Soda.

There are also plenty of photo zones for you to take pictures!

Be Purple

This is the first cafe to come up on NAVER when you search "Purple Cafes in Seoul." It's a very large cafe that can accommodate a large number of people.

It has many popular areas for you to take your pictures!

We ordered the Strawberry Latte, which is their seasonal drink, Strawberry Croffle, their most recommended menu, and a Latte!

We specifically recommend this cafe for all those who love art and are creative individuals. They frequently hold different art exhibitions in their cafe and you can even purchase different artworks here.

The cafe isn't too large but has a lot of seats.

They're mostly known for these crazy galaxy cakes!

We ordered their Strawberry Cheesecake and Chocolate Hazelnut Cake.

If you come during the daytime, you can see this purple LED wall that's more vibrant when there's sunlight shining in.

But if you decide to come during the late afternoon, you can also enjoy the rooftop area where you will see a beautiful view of Itaewon.
