Review

The first cafe on our list is Rachel's Kitchen.

This cafe has many branches around Seoul. We chose this cafe for two reasons, first is because of its cute baby pink color second is because of its spongy soufflés.

On the first floor of the cafe, you'll find the counter. There are 2 small tables and a nicely decorated area.

But most people grab a seat on the second floor since there is more space.

After placing our orders, we walked up to the second floor. It was beautifully decorated with flowers, candles, and lights.

You simply cannot pass this mirror without taking a photo. We took a lot of pictures here and admired the soft pastel colors.

When we entered the second floor, the space felt very light and airy. There were tables and chairs all around with white walls and large windows to brighten the space up.

The cafe has mostly white tones, with pink details on the walls, chairs, and props.

These seats by the window are very popular! A lot of people like to sit here and just watch people pass by. It's very peaceful!

When you visit this cafe, you can't miss this flamingo! Don't forget to snap a picture with it to make yourself feel like you're on a tropical vacation.

In addition, there are many lovely corners for you to relax and take pictures. Let's take a look at some of these pictures! I'm not a model so please bear with my poses.

Since the soufflé takes about 15 minutes to prepare, we took this time to look around the cafe and take as many pictures as we wanted.

The cafe is famous for its soufflés so we ordered a Miracle Soufflé (기적의 팬케이크) and two drinks, a Strawberry Latte (딸기친구딸기) and an Americano.

Miracle Soufflé (기적의 팬케이크) 
11,000 won

One order includes 3 soufflés that are big enough to serve 2-3 people. It comes with whipped cream and honey. There are a lot of flavors to choose from such as banana, strawberry, and green tea.

But we wanted to taste their original, so we ordered their basic flavor.

Drizzle some honey on top and eat it with the whipped cream. The texture was spongy and so deliciously sweet, perfectly paired with the americano.

Americano
4,200 won

The americano doesn't differ too much from other cafes. It tastes good and has a strong taste of caffeine.

There is absolutely nothing to complain about! The drink is served with this super adorable heart-shaped straw.

Strawberry Latte (딸기친구딸기)
7,500 won

This is our all-time favorite drink, the strawberry latte! This drink has 3 layers. At the bottom is strawberry jam, the middle is milk and the top is strawberry ice cream.

If you're not a big fan of coffee, we definitely recommend this drink. The taste of the milk with the strawberry jam was so delicious. It also fits so perfectly well with the theme of the cafe.

The only thing to note is that when paired with cake, the taste can get a little overwhelmingly sweet.

If you're looking for a famous pink cafe in Korea, you have to visit this spectacular one called Mamma Mia!

Another reason why we visited this cafe is because of the wide range of desserts that are offered here, plus Blackpink Rosé and Girl's Day Hyeri have also visited this place.

Located in the bustling streets of Apgujeong, it's a prominent two-story cafe that captures the attention of anyone walking by. Keep in mind that if you come on the weekend, it's will be very crowded and you will likely have to wait in a long line.

We had to come back on another day during the week since it was so crowded on the weekend.

Although the cafe just opened not too long ago, it has already gained a lot of hype. When you visit, you have to take a photo outside with this eye-catching hot pink exterior in the background!

The cafe consists of three zones. The first floor has indoor and outdoor seating, and the second floor just has indoor seating.

When you walk in, on your left-hand side, you'll be greeted by delicious-looking desserts. Just grab a tray and some tongs and pick out your favorite flavors!

It took us so long to decide what we wanted since they all looked so cute and tasty.

Here are a few pictures of the cute desserts. There is carrot cake, tarts, cupcakes, and much more! You'll definitely find your favorite dessert here.

The only downside was that we couldn't try all the flavors!

This mirror is where Blackpink's Rosé and Girl's Day's Hyeri came and took pictures. You can see in the video that by the time they arrived, the desserts in the back were mostly sold out.

After picking out which dessert we wanted, we went up to the checkout counter and ordered drinks.

The beverages are divided into caffeinated and non-caffeinated drinks.

This is the indoor seating area on the first floor. The walls are full of artistic paintings. You can admire the decor while having a cup of coffee here with your friends.

This is the outdoor seating on the first floor. The ceiling is full of fake plants hanging down from above and it adds some romance to the atmosphere.

It would be so nice to lounge here on a warm, beautiful, and sunny day, don't you think?

Walk up the small staircase on the opposite side of the entrance to the second floor.

The second floor is a beautiful artistic room that looks like it popped straight out of a Pinterest board. There are beautiful flowers all around the white ceiling of the cafe, and there was plenty of sunlight shining through, it's such a beautiful atmosphere!

The second floor is decorated in white with colorful flowers. There are large windows with white curtains, which makes it look really poetic.

The ceiling is also covered with thin white fabric so it feels extremely airy and bright. It felt like entering a rose garden.

We came early in the morning so there were no customers up here.

After picking up our order, we decided to sit in the outdoor area on the first floor since it had more pink!

We ordered a carrot cake, a strawberry cruffin, and a strawberry latte, which is their signature drink.

Please note that each customer must order one drink.

Carrot cake 8,500 won

Carrot cake has become very popular in Korea since last year. It tastes super addicting, and Mamma Mia's cream cheese frosting is quite thick and delicious.

The cake isn't too sweet or too big so one person can finish a slice on their own.

Strawberry Cruffin
4,500 won

We fell in love with this cake the second we first laid our eyes on it because it's shaped like an adorable pink bear.

Cruffin is a combination of croissant and muffin. Cut this into bite-sized pieces and eat it with the cream!

The creamy strawberry flavor is delicious but it is difficult to cut because of the bear.

Strawberry Latte
8,000 won

Because we were attempting to stick to a pink theme, we chose the strawberry latte. Like the strawberry latte from the previous cafe, there is a layer of strawberry jam at the bottom and milk on top.

At Mamma Mia, there is a huge chunk of strawberry inside the drink! Compared to the other cafe, I liked this latte better because the jam was sweeter. It's definitely worth a try!

Overall our experience at this cafe was amazing. The cafe is located close to Gangnam and is slightly more expensive than other cafes but we thought it was worth the money.

Side note, if you drive here, they have valet parking. We took the subway so we didn't need it.
