🙋🏻♀️ Introducing our Tourmate
Hi there! I'm Yeji, the founder of LOCAL CHINGU, and I'm excited to be your cultural journey guide for the Korean Drinking Culture Session!
Before diving into the adventure of Local Chingu, I spent my time teaching Korean language and culture at a university and a language school. Seeking a more creative way to showcase Korean culture, I made a change, leaving my previous job to start Local Chingu.
My passion for language and culture started when I was 20, leading me to study Korean language and literature. After a transformative exchange student experience in Spain, I shifted my focus to teaching Korean as a foreign language. Following that, I earned a master's degree in teaching Korean as a foreign language from Ewha Womans University, and now I share my knowledge as a freelancer with English-speaking learners.
I've traveled to 15 countries and lived in Spain and the Netherlands for a total of 2 years. Running Local Chingu for the past 2 years has not been easy, but I couldn't stop because it continues to provide me with the opportunity to meet incredible people from different cultures and learn valuable lessons from those connections.
If you connect with my story, if you're someone who, like me, loves connecting with new faces and cultures, then my culture session is your perfect opportunity for a vibrant and enriching experience!
