So today, we are showing you the main characters' personal spaces from recently aired dramas.
The main characters' rooms show their personalities and atmosphere with simple items. The design allows viewers to be fully immersed in their homes.

Dal-Mi's warm and cozy bedroom
Seo Dal-Mi (Bae Suzy) has been working hard in various part-time jobs since she was young, yet continues to stay positive.
Looking at the bookcases full of books and notes on her wall truly shows off her personality and general vibe.
The warm tones, curtains, and lighting of her room collectively create an elegant atmosphere in her room.

With a million-dollar salary and looks that land him on front covers of magazines, he's the perfect example of young, rich, and handsome.
His home screams luxury with his clean, spacious, yet simple interior. It's so clean that it looks unused, especially in the kitchen.
Fun fact, Han Ji-Pyeong's room is actually a private penthouse at Conrad Hotel in Korea.
The enormous 90-pyeong penthouse (approx. 3200 sq ft) with a heft price of 6.5 million won (approx. 6000 USD) a night perfectly pairs his fancy but neat personality for his everyday life.
Although he has a large space, he fills it with a simple interior, contrasting from its extravagant exterior. It reflects the inner depths of Ji-Pyeong, loneliness.

Bae Ro-Na's pink and feminine room
This is Bae Ro-Na, Cheonga Arts High school student and future prima donna, and her bedroom.
She first lived in a small villa with her mother but moved to Hera Palace, a luxury residential and commercial complex. She moved to a nice room in the picture shown above.
Ro-Na's room is decorated in lovely pink, reflecting her personality. It shows how bold she is and her ambition to chase after her dream.
The bed, curtains, and even the cushion of the chair follow the pink theme. You can feel the warm and cozy atmosphere.

The couple Cheon Seo-Jin and Ha Yoon-Cheol portray themselves as the happy and loving couple, but they're actually a pair who are only faithful to their desires.
Their living room shows a black and red color scheme, with decor showing off the couple's excessive desire for love, money, and honor.
Their bedroom follows a similar theme to their living room.
The married couple's bedroom has twin-sized beds adorned with luxurious red bedding and interior like Cheon Seo-Jin's intense and fiery personality.
Shim Su-Ryeon and Joo Dan-Tae live in a dignified penthouse on the 100th floor.
Let's take a look at Shim Su-Ryeon and Joo Dan-Tae's penthouse located on the top floor oh Hera Palace, one of the most expensive places to live in Korea.
The overall space exudes a neat and luxurious interior with a black and white color scheme.
It's a two-floor structure with high ceilings. The lighting of the home gives off the feeling of a modern art museum.
The kitchen in their Hera Palace penthouse is bright and colorful.
With the aromas of the rich coming from the kitchen, there's a beautiful long table made for a family of four.
Consistent with the other room, it has a clean black and white themed interior with similar lighting.
Lee Kyu-Jin and Go Sang-Ah live with their mother, the master of Korean food.
The couple, Lee Kyu-Jin and Go Sang-Ah, another resident couple of Hera Palace's living room.
Lee Kyu-Jin, a lawyer, played by Bong Tae-Kyu, is a mama's boy. His mother is a famed master of Korean cuisine who often appears on TV.
Go Sang-Ah often suffers from a burdening life with her mother-in-law.
That's probably why you can see the mother-in-law's influencer in their interior of the couple's living room.
It's unique and different from the other homes in Hera Palace. It's adorned with traditional plots seemingly filled with red pepper paste and soybean paste, and traditional furniture.

So Mun's room shows off his passion as an aspiring webtoon writer.
So Mun, an aspiring webtoon writer, lives with his grandparents.
From observation, you can see his bedroom walls are filled with drawings and paintings he created. You can tell that he worked hard to be where he is.
The picture above shows the living that So Mun shares with his grandparents. It's similar to most Korean country homes or a grandparent's place.
Lots of natural light filters through the window bringing warmth to the home. A long framed piece of writing signifying family happiness and a plant-filled terrace really brings out the familial atmosphere unique to rural Korean homes.

Im Ju-Kyung's room reflects her cheerful and innocent personality.
Im Ju-Kyung's room is just as happy and innocent as herself. I can feel her personality shining through her bedroom.
Just like Ju-Kyung's lovely and quirky personality, her room is filled with unique props and decor.
Her room is filled with many, many decorations and props, where it might seem cluttered to some. However, if you look closely, many of them are props from her favorite horror movies. Her bed area design aligns with her interests.
A unique point in her room is her skylight window. It takes the stuffiness away from the room and brings in an open and refreshing feeling.
IT'S OKAY TO NOT BE OKAY

Ko Moon-Young's vintage-styled room is filled with loneliness.
Ko Moon-Young lives in a castle-like home unique from others. Therefore, the show designed an antique-filled, vintage design, so different that it may seem a little unreal.
The production crew of, It's Okay to Not Be Okay tried to recreate Ko Moon-Young's "cursed castle".
The crew paid close attention to the castle props and the room was filled with purpose and meaning.
The castle may have been CGI, but the crew decorated Moon-Young's rooms with items that are over a hundred years old. Expensive paintings and antique furniture were collected and purchased by vintage furniture collectors.
Moon-Young castle is the result of the detail and hard efforts of the production team.
SKY CASTLE

Han Seo-Jin's home shows off her wealth, honor, and happiness.
We look at the home of Han Seo-Jin, a daughter of a drunk hiding her upbringing to live a life she dreamed.
To portray this ideal life of wealth, honor, and happiness, she decorated the house with bright flowers, elegant furniture, and decor.
Lee Soo-Im's warm and friendly home
Lee Soo-Im is an outspoken and active person. She has a loving family with her husband, doctor Hwang Chi-Young, and son Woo-Joo.
The love is apparent through her house with an indoor garden-like living space with practical furniture and humble-like fabric decor. It suits their humble and loving family.
No Seung-Hye and a patriarchal home with a tense atmosphere.
Contrary to No Seung-Hye's warm personality, her husband Cha Min-Hyuk is a ruthless and cold-hearted man. He locks his sons up in a study room as punishment for failing to solve problems in an efficient manner.
He's the son of a poor laundry working family while resulted in him having an inferiority complex with a desire to be better than others.
The entire home follows a dark, black, and metal-like color scheme with sharp and dark decor, reflecting his own dark inner heart.
Jin Jin-Hee's fun and honest-like home
Jin Jin-Hee has a lively, fun, and honest personality.
With an open and distinctive color filling her room, she also adds crystal-like decor highlighting the splendid-like atmosphere.
