Seongbukdong, with Mt. Bukhan to the north and the Seoul Fortress Wall surrounding the area, is a quiet neighbourhood just a couple of stops away from busy bustles of Hyehwa and Dongdaemub along Seoul Metro line 4.

Interestingly, more cafes in the city are adding a double functionality as a fruit shop. Cafe 58.4 functions as one too, offering fruits in smaller portions. One of my local friends mentioned that many Seoul single households find a fruit shop in a cafe useful because they're sold in smaller quantities.
The seating areas on the first floor are largely divided into two spaces; a room decorated in a more traditional style and a room with wooden tables and chairs.
I especially liked the comfort that comes with the colour combination of the traditional-style room. You'll also spot interesting decor pieces like the doors to a window you'd usually find in a hanok house.
The breezy rooftop on the second floor opens up a whole different view not easily spotted in the city; layers of classic hanok roofs with a backdrop of the green mountains and skies.
These bar stools and bar tables are where most of the social media-popular hanok roofs shots are taken. Enjoy the breathtaking views of Seongbukdong with a cup of coffee or their ades with fresh chunky fruits.
