Glass Bridge and Observatory | Chuncheon

Chuncheon is a rural town and a great place for a day trip from Seoul as it is very accessible; You could take the train, bus, car or ITX.
There are many attractions like Nami Island but the most eye-catching attractions are the transparent glass attractions built high up. Do you have the courage and guts to stand on a glass floor? Go and find out!
Soyanggang Skywalk

The first scenic spot is Soyanggang Skywalk. It takes about a 20-minute bus ride from Chuncheon station. When we got there, there were many people on the bridge already.
Before you enter the bridge, the staff will hand you a pair of shoe covers. The thrilling bridge deck is made with glass and is transparent, so you can see everything under your feet. Don't be scared as the bridge is sturdy.
When walking on Soyanggang Skywalk, you can appreciate the beautiful and magnificent Soyanggang river. The breeze and fresh air will bring a refreshing sensation.
At the end of the bridge, there is a statue of a fish that shoots water from its mouth which serves as a great photo spot.
Miss Soyang River was a go-to song in the 1970s in Korea and since the lyrics are about the Soyang River, Chuncheon City Hall constructed a bronze statue exclusively to promote the city. It drew much attention when WINNER's Mino sampled Miss Soyang River in his song called Fiance. You can witness the lyrics to Miss Soyang River written on a massive rock here.

A TWOSOME PLACE

A TWOSOME PLACE is a franchise cafe in Korea. This cafe has one of the best landscapes of Chuncheon and is famous for having a glass Observatory built hanging on the edge of the building. Idols like EXO's Chanyeol and Sehun visited this place to experience the majestic landscape of Kubong Mountain in the glass box.

However, it's not easy to get to the cafe, because it's located on the mountain. If you don't have a car, be prepared to hike! There is an easy way which is to take the taxi if you have spare cash to spend.
This glass observation deck can be found on the rooftop of the cafe. Make sure you don't jump on this deck as it could be dangerous. When you step inside the glass box it could give an illusion of floating on air but it could make your legs shiver and weak.
The view from the glass observatory was magnificent and the full view of Chuncheon was breathtaking. I got to appreciate nature and this journey was worth the effort and time.
