Ikseon-dong may sound less familiar to you than the other neighbourhoods, yet, it is the hottest place for Korean locals to look for good places to eat and chill, full of special restaurants and cafes.
If you are into the process of coffee drilling, you can have a barista seat.
The picture above was taken at 10am sharp when I just arrived, and the tables are almost full already. Can you see how popular is it?
Although the order may take a bit longer as all food is made fresh right after the order placed. It takes around 20mins.
Soufflé pancakes with 6 different flavours are the signature menu of DongBaek Bakery and the most popular flavours are strawberry, matcha and original.
I, of course, got the bestseller, strawberry soufflé pancake!
You can also see it on almost every other tables. It really deserves its name. The pancake is airy and the cream is so soft with fresh strawberries and jam. Fantastic!
I ordered an almond mocha, the cream topping is very sweet while the coffee is bitter.
And my friend ordered a cup of strawberry fruit tea. Out of my expectation, it was so good!
It is quite special that there was a thin piece of lemon. In the beginning, you can taste only strawberry but then the lemon after taste came.
