Most travelers to Korea enter the country through Incheon Airport, which is one of the best airport facilities in the world. Is an outstanding airport the only thing in Incheon? Nope! Incheon is a seaside city just like Busan. Despite its proximity and cultural similarities to Seoul, Incheon offers all sorts of seafood and various ocean activities. A mixture of Seoul and Busan, Incheon is a great place to make a day trip if you're visiting Seoul especially because the transportation is super convenient. Let us introduce to you a one-day tour itinerary for Incheon!

Information

Operating Weekdays: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays

Tour Course: Yeongjong Seaside Rail Bike > Wolmido > Songwol-dong Fairytale Village > Chinatown > Gaehang Market > Ganghwa Seaside Resort Luge

Destinations

Yeongjong Rail Bike: A 5.6km long rail, this is the first rail bike in Incheon.

Cruise: A 15-minute ride that will take you from Yeongjongdo to Wolmido. You can feed the seagulls during the ride.

Wolmido: The most famous date spot in Incheon. Various activities are available on the island.

China Town: One of the most popular Incheon tourist destinations, experience a miniature China within Korea.

Ganghwado Luge: 2 lines operate on a 1.8km long course. (You can purchase additional rounds of luge on sight at a discounted price)


Things to Keep In Mind

The tour is available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Changes and cancelations must be made at least 3 days before the tour date.

The tour includes all transportation costs and admission tickets.

The tour does not include meals, travel insurance, or other personal expenses.

The tour itinerary is subject to change depending on the weather and traffic conditions.

Please arrive at the appointed pick-up location 10 minutes before departure.

Children under 36 months are free of charge but will not be provided an additional seat.

Your reservation will be confirmed within 1-2 business days and a voucher will be sent to your email.

If the cruise is not operating or if the car cannot get on the cruise ship, the car will transport on land and the cruise ride fee will not be refunded.

If the cruise is not operating, the seagull feeding will take place at the beach.

The number of seagulls on-site is not controllable. Creatrip or the tour operators are not responsible for the absence of wild seagulls.

If the Ganghwa Resort Luge is not open due to weather conditions or other reasons, it will be substituted for another activity or tourist attraction.

Yeongjong Seaside Rail Bike

Yeongjong Seaside Rail Bike is a 4-passenger rail bike that you can ride along a rail on the Incheon coast! The track is a whopping 5.6 km (round-trip) so you will have plenty of time to look at the ocean! On days when the weather is nice, you will be able to look at the endless ocean horizon and also the Incheon city skyline.

Wolmido

Wolmido is Incheon's most well-known island. It is only 1 km away from Incheon's coast and has a diameter of 4 km. The island is often visited by Korean as there is a small amusement park and tons of cafes and restaurants. There even is a fish market with the freshest seafood!

The Wolmi Theme Park, though small in size, has everything an amusement park needs. It is so well-known and also featured in Descendents of the Sun in a scene featuring Song JoongKi and Son Hyegyo. The most popular ride at Wolmi Theme Park is the Wolmi Viking. The thrilling, gut-wrenching ride can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Other than the Viking, the Disco Pang pang and Merry-go-round is also popular.

Incheon Chinatown was first established in 1883 when Incheon Port was opened. This area is where many Chinese immigrants settled so there was, and still is, an abundance of imported Chinese goods.

There are tons of Chinese restaurants, Chinese bakeries, and cafes. The walls are decorated with scenes from Samgukji. Other than that, there are tons to see!

Songwol-dong Fairytale Village

Dongwol-dong Fairytale Village is a whole village full of cartoon characters from all over the world. There is a road called Dorothy road, Red Hood Road, Jeollae Folktale Road, and 11 other themed roads! All over the village are art installations of these cartoons!
