You don't know where to go in Busan? It feels like everyone visits the same place over and over again.  That's the reason why everyone gets the idea that Busan trip is boring.

In fact, Busan has mountains and seas which makes the place much more scenic than Seoul. I will introduce you 36 places to visit in Busan. There won't be time to get bored!

1. Gamcheon-dong Culture Village (감천동문화마을)

• Address：부산 사하구 감천동 10-13

This is the first place to visit in Busan, which most of you have already visited. It is called the Machu Picchu of Korea, and the colorful houses on the hillside certainly lives up to its nick name. When you visit Busan, I strongly that you spend half a day to walk around the town.

2. Nampodong Market (남포동)

• Nampo Station (남포역) Exit 7

The lively Nampodong market is also a must-see attraction in Busan. It is located in the vicinity of downtown. Nampodong is full of food, shopping and attraction for young people. It is a good place for both a whole day trip or a half-day trip.

3. Haeundae Beach (해운대해수욕장)

• Address : 부산 해운대구 달맞이길62번길 47

Haeundae is the most well known land mark of Busan. In summer time it is full of people and you might find a sea of people instead of water. However in autumn and winter you can enjoy the beautiful scenery all by yourself. The beautiful scene of the endless sea will highlight your stay in Busan.

4. Gwangandaegyo Bridge (광안대교)

• Location : Gwangan Station (광안역) Exit 3, 5

The most famous bridge in Busan is this Gwangandaegyo. This is the place you must visit if you are in Busan around November, for its grand fireworks festival. Or you can just visit at any nights to enjoy the scene of quiet Gwangan beach to calm your mind.

5. Haedong Yonggungsa Temple (해동용궁사)

• Address：부산 기장군 기장읍 용궁길 86 

One of the most beautiful temples in Korea, the "Haedong Yonggungsa Temple" is built on the coastline. It takes nearly an hour from Haeundae, but it is definitely worth your time.

6. Dongbaekseom Island (동백섬)

Haeundae is not only a beach, but along the trails of the Haeundae, you will find a small island that stand out on the sea. This island is called "Dongbaekseom". In autumn time it is a beautiful place to enjoy the cool breeze along with the sound of the waves.

7. Gijang Market (기장시장)

• Address：부산 기장군 기장읍 읍내로104번길 16

Gijang Market is the largest market for sea foods. If you want to buy fresh seafood this is the place for you. You can bargain with the merchants a lot and this is the place where you can get the best offers.

8. Jagalchi Market (자갈치시장)

• Address：부산 중구 남포동5가 구덕로 113-5

If you feel that the Gijang Market is too far away, you'd better visit the Jagalchi Market which is very close to Nampodong. The place also offers fresh items at reasonable prices. I love to walk around and buy random sea foods for meal. I recommend that you try this place out too!

9. Daejeo Eco-Park (대저생태공원)

• 부산 강서구 대저1동 2314-11

I don't know if you have heard of the Daejeo Eco-Park in Busan. It is a attraction that you can enjoy all year round. In Spring there are cherry blossoms, and in the autumn there are pink muhly, which is a beautiful photo zone for everyone. 

However, because the place is long away from other Busan attractions it is recommended that you visit the place for the whole afternoon and not make other reservations.

10. Busan Harbor (부산항국제여객터미널)

• Address : 부산 동구 충장대로 206

Busan is a very large city with biggest harbor in Korea. If you are visiting Busan for the first time you must visit Busan Port,and experience the busy industry of the city.

11. Igidae Cliff (이기대)

• Address：부산 남구 용호동 산25

This is another landmark that you visit to enjoy the beautiful nature of Busan. It will take you about an hour to take a look around. come and listen to the sound of the waves, and look at the tall buildings of Haeundae.

12. Eulsukdo Island (을숙도)

Like the Daejeo Eco-Park this is the landmark where Busan locals visit when they wish to visit nature. In the autumn of Eulsukdo, beautiful pink muhly is one of the magnificent sight you must not miss.

13. Jeonpo Cafe Street (전포동카페거리)

• Address：부산 부산진구 전포대로209번길 26

Located near the western business district, it has the reputation as a cafe street. This is the place where you can rest your body and mind after long trip with a pleasant cup of coffee.

14. Yeongdodaegyo Bridge (영도대교)

• Location : Nampo Station Exit 6

It is really magnificent view. The Yeongdodaegyo opens on 14:00 everyday. When you are shopping at the Nampodong market be sure to arrive at the bridge before 14:00. You can see the nine seagulls symbolizing peace rise slowly. It is a touching sight for those who remember the sad history of Korean war.

15. Centum City（센텀시티）

• Centum City Station (센텀시티역)

Centum City is a commercial town located at the heart of Busan. The tall buildings glow at night and reflections on the water are also beautiful. Even if you don't wish to visit the department store, this is a good place just to enjoy the beautiful scenery from any cafe.

16. Busan Cinema Center (영화의 전당) 

• Address : 부산 해운대구 수영강변대로 120

The Busan Film Festival, which has ended in just a while ago, screened《The World Between Us》. Busan Film Festival site is just next to Centum City, and is full of cinema items to sight see.

17. Pusan National University (부산대학교)

• Location : Pusan Nat'l Univ Station Exit 3, 1

The University Campus is are the most lively business districts. Pusan National University is no exception. Pusan Nat'l University is one of Busan's three major business districts. If you want to feel like local students, it is the place to visit.

18. Kimminbu Observatory (김민부 전망대)

If you want to see the Busan city from higher ground where should we go? At the Kimminbu Observatory you can not only see the Gwangan Bridge but also rare sense of tranquility of the city during the day.

19. 168 Stairs (168계단)

• Address：부산 동구 초량동 994-660

As the name implies it is a 168 story staircase. It stretches all the way up to six floor building and looks spectacular. At the top you can find the Kimminbu Observatory just mentioned above. If you are too tired to walk up the stair case, government has set up a monorail elevator for the elderly so don't worry.

20. The Bay 101（더베이 101）

The most beautiful night scene in Busan is 「The Bay 101」. You can see the spectacular lights from the building and the reflections. You can take amazing photos here.

21.  International Market (국제시장)

• Address：부산 중구 국제시장2길 25

It was the place for the highest score movie  "International Market" was filmed. It is located in Nampodong and still is the place where you can buy daily necessities and snacks. Don't miss it if you are near Nampodong.

22. Huinnyeoul Culture Village (흰여울문화마을)

• Address : 부산 영도구 영선동4가 1044-6

If you have already visited the Gamcheon Village I recommend that you visit Huinnyeoul Culture village. The coastal scenery and the winds gives you the feeling that you are separated from other parts of the world. They are also very close to Nampodong, and I definitely recommend that you pay a visit.

23. Busan Tower/ Yongdusan Park (부산타워/용두산공원)

There are Seoul Tower in Seou, Daegu E-World Tower in Daegu, and Busan Tower in Busan. You can take the 360 degree view of Busan from the Busan Tower located at the Yongdusan Park. Want to take a look at the whole Busan? Come to Busan Tower!

25. Dadaepo (다대포)

• Location : Dadaepo Beach Station Exit 2

Dadaepo is located in the south of Busan, at the end of Busan subway Line 1. The Dadaepo Dream Fountain provides a beautiful scenery which will be unforgettable. Also don't miss the sun set by the coast which provides different scenery from Haeundae and Gwangan.

26. Yeonghwauigeori (영화의 거리) 

• Address：부산 해운대구 우동 1409-3

While economic development was taking place in Busan, the cultural atmosphere continued to develop as well. In addition to BIFF Plaza in Nampodong this street of movie "Yeonghwauigeori" was also established. Famous Korean film and television shows are recorded here. Leaving you with unlimited memories.

27. Yu Chi-hwan mailbox (유치환 우체통)

28. Bupyeong Kkangtong Market (부평깡통시장)

Are you looking for night markets in Busan? The Bupyeong Kkangtong market near the Nampodong International market is similar to other markets, but at nights it turns into a special market selling cheap local cuisines. Let try it together!

29. Cheongsapo (청사포)

Located in a small village near Haeundae, the most famous of the Busan attraction is Cheongsapo. They have the twin red and white lighthouses. If time permits, I really recommend that you visit the place. Cheongsapo is the most unforgettable trips which I have visited.

30. Songdo (송도)

If you have visited the Cheongsapo Sky walk, you still have much more to see. At Songdo Skywalk you can take the beautiful cable car and enjoy the scenery of the sea. Take a look at the beautiful scenery of Songdo area in Busan!

31. Beomeosa Temple (범어사)

Hiding in the deep mintains, the Beomeosa is one of the most beautiful temples in Busan. Here you can find unprecedented peace and quiet beauty in Busan.

32. Mipo Railroad (미포철길)

• Address：부산 해운대구 달맞이길62번길 11

On Haeundae Yeongwol Road there is an abandoned railway attraction Mipo Railway. Take a photo at the end of the tunnel and it will be great post to put on your instagram. It will make your trip completely different from other people's visit to Busan.

33.  Busan Citizens Park (부산시민공원)

• Address：부산 부산진구 시민공원로 73

Recently, because BTS member took a picture from the Busan Citizens Park and it made the place famous again. The management office also set up a photo point for BTS fans. If you are an ARMY this is definitely the place for you to visit and take pictures.

34. Taejongdae (태종대)

• Address：부산 영도구 동삼동 산29-1

According to Korean legend, a King named Taejong visited the place and fell in love with the beautiful scenery. The name Taejongdae was born. The coast has been eroded over the years to form cliffs and rock formations. Its combination with forests and waves creates a great view.

35. Samrak Eco-park (삼락천생태공원)

• Address：부산 사상구 삼락동 686

In the autumn and winte, you can visit the Samrak Eco-park in Busan. You can enjoy the scenery of migratory grass and migratory birds. It is recommended in the spring, since the place is one of the hottest place to enjoy cherry blossoms.

36. Kyungseongdae Culture Street (경성대 문화거리)

Are you looking for cultural relic or forgotten attractions? This culture street is for you. After the renovation of the traditional old style residence in Busan, it introduce the evolution of Busan along the historical passage.
