Styling includes basic curling iron styling; updo hairstyling is not available. An additional fee may be required for extremely curly hair. (On-site payment)
The procedures usually takes between 1 to 2.5 hours; but it may be longer based on the consultation time.

Our Visit
Today, I visited LEEKAJA HAIR. Located in the heart of Myeongdong, a must-visit spot in Korea, LEEKAJA HAIR is a well-known name in the Korean beauty industry.
The salon interior is spacious and cozy, with pastel tones creating a relaxing atmosphere. Each station is separated by walls, offering a private and comfortable hair care experience. Plus, the staff speaks multiple languages, including English and Chinese, so you don't have to worry about communication at all.
After confirming your reservation at reception, you'll hand over your coat and belongings and receive a locker key. You don't have to carry your stuff around during your visit.
After storing your belongings and putting on a gown, the staff will offer you a welcome drink. You can choose between coffee and tea!
Today, I'll be trying the 'Waterfall Energy Head Spa + Styling' treatment. Before starting, you'll answer some pre-treatment questions about your scalp concerns, family history of hair loss, and hair damage. The questionnaire is available in Chinese, Spanish, Japanese, and English, making it convenient for everyone.
Next, the staff uses a scalp analysis device to check various areas, assessing overall scalp health, including tanned spots and oily areas. After a short wait, you'll receive an AI-generated analysis of the results.
The analysis provides detailed information, including the number of hairs per follicle, hair thickness, and overall hair volume. It also measures scalp moisture levels and temperature. Using hospital-grade data and a vast database, the AI delivers a precise and clear analysis. At the end, a summary of the overall results is provided, making it easy to understand everything at a glance.
Based on the results, the hair designer will advise you on how to properly use shampoo and recommend the best type for your hair. You'll also receive a QR code with your results, so you can review your scalp and hair condition at home!
Today, I noticed some redness and oily spots on my scalp, so I decided to focus on improving these areas. We applied a Korean scaling product to boost scalp immunity. The cooling sensation was refreshing and made my scalp feel soothed and cool!
Next, the staff carefully applied a rich cleanser containing polyglutamic acid (PGA) to my scalp. This product has strong adhesion, effectively removing impurities while soothing and moisturizing the scalp, helping to restore balance. With a refreshing grapefruit scent, the cleanser is made from gentle ingredients, safe enough for children to use. It's perfect for the whole family!
The staff also gave me a refreshing scalp massage. It felt like all the stress and tension in my head melted away!
Next, they used a steamer to help the product absorb deeply into my scalp and hair.
Next, I headed to the shampoo room for a wash. I loved that it was a private shampoo room just for me! The staff gave me a refreshing scalp massage while washing my hair.
After the shampoo, the staff filled a basin with water and added a water-based aromatherapy oil. Then, they proceeded with the Waterfall treatment.
The steamer's heat function helps expel impurities from the scalp. The Waterfall treatment then washes away those impurities and stimulates blood circulation with warm water. This process lasts about 10 minutes. As the warm water trickled down my forehead, it felt both tingly and surprisingly soothing.
Next, they applied a scalp mask rich in protein and amino acids all over my hair. This all-in-one product works for both scalp and hair, providing moisture and nourishment. It's also effective for improving hair loss!
With the scalp mask still on, they performed a gua sha massage. The massage covered everything from the neck to the top of the head, providing a thorough relaxation. If you prefer a stronger or gentler gua sha pressure, be sure to let the staff know on-site!
Next, I received a hand pressure massage. It wasn’t painful at all—just the right amount of pressure, so relaxing that I almost drifted off to sleep!
To help the scalp mask absorb into my hair and scalp, they used a steamer. The process takes about 7-9 minutes, depending on your hair condition. If your hair is more damaged, they might extend the steaming time.
All the steps in the shampoo room are now complete. They rinsed out any remaining products from my hair and scalp to finish up the treatment.
Back at my seat, they sprayed a tonic to cool down my scalp. Then, they used an infrared machine to sterilize any remaining bacteria on my scalp and help the tonic absorb effectively.
Right after the treatment, I could visibly see an improvement in the sunburned areas of my scalp. Then, they used the scalp diagnostic device to take another look at my scalp.
I could clearly see improvements in several areas, including scalp heat and sensitivity. Overall, the heat in my scalp had significantly reduced!
Finally, they applied a generous amount of LEEKAJA's custom-made treatment, which is packed with protein. Thanks to the high-quality products used throughout the process, I could immediately feel the improvement in my hair and scalp.
Now it's time to dry my hair and get it styled!
