Our Visit
Palgongsan, the emblematic mountain of Daegu City, was recently designated as a national park. A year-round attraction, it draws visitors with azaleas in spring, vibrant autumn foliage in fall, and stunning snowscapes in winter.
Of all the seasons, autumn is particularly famed for its breathtaking scenery. The expansive 16.3km stretch lined with maple trees exudes a majestic ambiance due to its grand scale.
In this day tour, we’ll take a cable car ride, comfortably ascending to the summit. The view from both the cable car and the summit is stunning, a harmonious blend of rocks, valleys, and autumn leaves.
Additionally, I’ll be visiting Donghwasa Temple located within Palgongsan. Donghwasa is a traditional Korean temple. I recommend making a wish here and capturing photos amidst the vibrant autumn foliage.
