Barista Rules, a popular coffee brand that can be found in almost every convenience store in Korea, has released a new drink, the Dolce Latte! To promote the release, Barista Rules is holding several events including giveaways and freebies. They've even collaborated with Haru Film, which has been a super popular photo booth all over social media these days, and made a cute little frame design!
Unfortunately the special promo event with freebies is over (April 7th-April 9th), but there are still giveaway events you can participate in, and the Barista Rules x Haru Film collaboration frames will be available throughout April! Our Visit
We headed over to Haru Film Yeontral Park to check it out for ourselves! We couldn't pass up an opportunity to get free coffee and Haru Film photos!
We arrived at Haru Film Yeontral Park at around 18:00 on the first day of the special promotional event (April 7th). It's hard to miss because there are purple decorations all around the front of the store! The staff were very inviting and there were a good amount of people lined up outside.
There's even a huge Barista Rules Dolce Latte prop!
There could be a wait for the Haru Film photo booth, so we recommend going straight to the entrance and putting yourself on the waitlist first!
You'll need a Korean phone number so that you can get a notification via Kakao Talk, but if you don't have a phone number, let the employee know and they will figure out another way to get you on the waitlist (you may need to just wait in person).
After you get a spot on the waitlist, you'll get a Kakao Talk notification indicating that you have a spot in line and you'll need to wait outside. You can click on "대기 정보 확인" to check your place in line. Once you get a second Kakao message, that means it's your turn!
There weren't that many people when we went so we only waited about 10 minutes!
While you're waiting for your turn at the photo booth, you can participate in the SNS event, where you can get a free Barista Rules Dolce Latte by posting a photo of the lattes or the decorations on Instagram! It can just be a Story and there are no hashtags or tags needed.
Look how easy it is! I took a photo of the coffee, posted it to my Instagram Story, then showed it to a staff member and was immediately given this free Dolce Latte!
Once we got a notification that it was our turn for the photo booth, we headed inside Haru Film, which was just as extravagantly decorated as the outside! You'll have to wait a bit more before actually getting into the photo booth, but there's a lot to do while you wait!

You can take photos with the backdrop or mirror selfies in front of this cute mirror with a latte-shaped frame!
Finally, we made it into the actual photo booth! The inside was decorated with the purple Barista Rules theme as well! They really went all out with the decorations and it shows!
Can you believe we were able to get these cute photos for FREE? There are two Barista Rules frames to choose from! It was such a fun experience and the freebies were definitely worth it.
