2025 Spring K-Royal Culture Festival Changgyeonggung Palace <Welcome, You in Hanbok> | Exclusive tickets for foreign visitors

• Participants: Foreigners (including foreign nationals and permanent residents / accompanying Koreans are not allowed)
• Reservation Method:Creatrip pre-booking (maximum 2 tickets per person)
  • Booking is only available in units of 1 team (2 tickets), and you must select 2 tickets when making a purchase. Additionally, it is not possible to purchase more than 2 tickets.
  • Reserved tickets are non-transferable among acquaintances.
• Reservation Confirmation: Admission is possible after confirming the Creatrip reservation details on site
• Reservation Period: Available for reservation until 23:59 (KST) 2 days before the event
• Event Period: April 30, 2025 (Wed)~May 4, 2025 (Sun), total of 5 days with 25 sessions (5 sessions per day)
• Duration: Total of 160 minutes
  • Wearing and preparation of Hanbok for 1 man and 1 woman (40 minutes) + free viewing (120 minutes)
• Age Restriction: Only adults aged 18 and over (born before 2006) can participate
• Participants: Limited to 3 teams per session (2 people per team)
  • Operated with 2 people per team, and 1 woman's costume + 1 man's costume are provided
  • Same-gender participation is possible; however, changing the type of Hanbok is not allowed
  • Hanbok sizes: Women's sizes 85~105 (US sizes 2~10), Men's sizes 85~110(US sizes 14~17.5)
    • Only costumes within these sizes are prepared, so please refer to this information when applying.
• Time (KST): Arrival at least 10 minutes prior is required
  • Session 1: 09:20~12:00
  • Session 2: 09:50~12:30
  • Session 3: 10:20~13:00
  • Session 4: 13:20~16:00
  • Session 5: 13:50~16:30

How to Reserve

1. Please fill in all the required information accurately on the reservation page. 
2. Your reservation will be confirmed as soon as the payment is completed.
3. Please wait at the on-site registration location (in front of Changgyeong Palace Honghwamun) until 10 minutes before the viewing. Entry will begin after verifying your reservation details at the registration location. Please present your Creatrip reservation details.
   • You can enjoy traditional Hanbok dress-up and hair service (40 minutes), followed by free time at the palace (120 minutes).
   • Admission tickets for Changgyeonggung, Changdeokgung, and the Secret Garden of Changdeokgung are included. Changgyeonggung and Changdeokgung are connected.
   • For smooth operation and safety reasons, if you arrive more than 10 minutes after the program starts, participation and ticket refunds are not possible.
   • There are no parking facilities inside Changgyeonggung, so please use public transportation.
4. After your reservation is confirmed, please follow the on-site staff's instructions.

How to Get There

• Address: Seoul, Jongno-gu, Changgyeonggung-ro 185, in front of Changgyeonggung Honghwamun ticket office
• Subway:
  • Take exit 4 of Hyehwa Station (Line 4) and walk 10 minutes
  • Take exit 3 of Anguk Station (Line 3) and walk 15 minutes

Reservation

• This event is 100% reservation-only. No on-site ticket sales will be available.
• This is a self-guided program, and no foreign language explanation will be provided.
• Only adults aged 18 and over (born in or before 2006) can participate. Minors are not allowed under the rules.
• The program operates in teams of two, and includes one set of women’s hanbok and one set of men’s hanbok.
• Same-gender pairs can participate, but the hanbok type cannot be changed. (e.g., if two women join, one must wear the men's hanbok.)
• Please provide your height and top size (e.g., 165 cm / size 55) for hanbok sizing reference.
• Hanbok is available only in limited sizes. Women: Korean size 85–105 (US size 2–10), Men: Korean size 85–110 (US size 14–17.5). Please keep this in mind when booking.
• Reservations must be made per team (2 tickets), and exactly 2 tickets must be selected per purchase. You cannot purchase more than 2 tickets.
• Tickets are non-transferable, even to friends or acquaintances.
• You can only attend the event on the date and time selected at the time of booking.
• This event is exclusively for foreigners. If a Korean national books a ticket, the reservation may be canceled without notice and they will not be allowed to participate. (Koreans cannot enter even with a foreign companion; only those with a foreign passport may enter.)
• Korean nationals with foreign permanent residency or citizenship must present both proof of status and passport on-site to participate. Heritage Promotion Agency staff will verify the documents and determine entry eligibility. Creatrip cannot make this decision and is not responsible if entry is denied.
• Admission to Changgyeonggung Palace, Changdeokgung Palace, and the Secret Garden (Huwon) is included. Changgyeonggung and Changdeokgung are connected.
• Same-day purchases and use are not allowed.
• Please enter the information of both the reserving party and the companion when booking. If any information is incorrect or fraudulent, the reservation will be void and non-refundable if caught.
• If the ticket is purchased through dishonest methods or for scalping, the reservation may be canceled without prior notice and usage restricted.
• If you have any allergies, dietary restrictions (e.g., vegan), or other special considerations, please mention them during booking and inform the staff on-site.
• After the experience ends, please return the hanbok, change back into your clothes, and enjoy free time exploring the palace during its operating hours.

Visit 

• Please arrive at the on-site check-in area (in front of Honghwamun Gate, Changgyeonggung Palace) at least 10 minutes before your scheduled time. Entry begins after your Creatrip reservation is verified.
• After changing into traditional hanbok and receiving hair styling service (40 minutes), you’ll have 120 minutes of free time to explore the palace.
• For smooth operation and safety, if you arrive more than 10 minutes after the program starts, you will not be allowed to join or receive a refund
• There is no parking available at Changgyeonggung Palace, so please use public transportation.
• If there is a forecast of 1mm or more of rain by 8 PM the day before (based on the Korea Meteorological Administration), the program may be canceled. In that case, participants will be notified individually. Please make sure to enter your email address correctly to receive updates.
• We are not responsible for accidents or loss of personal belongings due to individual negligence.
• Pets are not allowed to participate in the event.
• All areas inside the palace are non-smoking.
• As a protected heritage site, food, tripods, flash photography, and any items that may cause safety concerns or damage to the facilities are not permitted.
• Please note that media coverage may take place during the event, and photos or videos may be taken without prior notice. Images or footage from the event may be used for promotion, research, or publications by the National Heritage Promotion Agency.
