I'm really glad I chose this place! It's close to Anguk Station, so I recommend this place to anyone who wants to go to the Hanok area. It was a sunny Sunday and there were a lot of people, but both the ladies at the shop were very kind and helped me smoothly from choosing my Hanbok to styling my hair (*^^*)
There's also a toilet inside the store, so it's safe! They will look after your clothes and luggage after you take them off, and you can choose a bag that matches your Hanbok. It's easy to walk around town (*^^*) And you can eat and drink while renting!
At the end, they made a photo of one of my favorite photos into a photobook. That's an amazing price!! I'd like to recommend this place to my friends, and I'd like to go again myself♡*.°

There was a Chinese-speaking clerk who was friendly, and a Korean clerk was just average, but he was very quick to set things up. I thought it would be better if he could be more considerate, and finally sent me two printed photos.

Although the store is small, the clothing and equipment are very complete. The staff are also very friendly😊. They are also very attentive in braiding hair. They help print and take photos of Hanbok when returning the clothes. I really like this place❤️

The store is not big but the quality of Korean clothes is quite good. The hair braiding and hair accessories are also very good. The shopkeeper is very friendly. There are also Chinese-speaking clerks in the store. In the end, you can choose to develop the photos. It is quite an experience👍

- Dorothy Hanbok is a hanbok rental shop that has hanboks made by an expert who's made traditional clothes for over 40 years. The shop is located near Gyeongbokgung Palace, Bukchon, Changdeokgung Palace, and more!

- Please select the exact date and time on the reservation page for a smooth reservation process.
- Hours: Every Day 9:00-19:00
- Available Reservation Hours: 9:00-17:00
Cancelation Policy
- 3 days before scheduled date: 100% Refund
- 2 days before scheduled date: Non-refundable
Things To Keep In Mind
- Free Services: Hair styling, accessories, hats, inner skirts
- Paid Services: Bags, shoes, other items
- If you wish to add other services that you did not make a reservation for, please pay on-site.
- A 10% fee will be charged for card payment.
- You will be asked to leave your ID card or passport at the shop when renting a Hanbok.
- Sizes: Men's sizes range from 85 - 115 and women's sizes range from 44 - 110 (Based on Korean clothing size)
- Children's hanboks are available for children from 1 years old.
- If you pass your allotted rental time, you will need to pay an additional 5,000 KRW for each hour.
- Gyeongbokgung Palace is closed on Tuesdays and Changdeokgung Palace is closed on Mondays. Each month has different opening hours so please check beforehand.
- The rental shop has employees that can communicate in Korean, English, and Chinese.
