Creatrip Language School Payment Service
Do you want to register for a language school by yourself but are stuck at the money-transferring step? Creatrip has launched a new language school payment service. Just like making a purchase on the Creatrip website with your credit card, pay the tuition, and we will handle the payment to the language school on your behalf!
How does the Creatrip Payment Service work?
Creatrip acts as an agent for the payment of application fees and tuition for regular courses at Korean university language schools.
Creatrip Payment Service Benefits
- Easy Credit Card Payments: Normally, you can't use a credit card to pay tuition when registering for language schools. With our service, you can pay directly with a credit card, and we'll then transfer the money to the school using a Korean bank account.
- Convenient Money Transfers: International money transfers can be quite challenging. By requesting an online money transfer through Creatrip, you can save time, reduce paperwork, and avoid bank visits. We use Korean bank accounts, which promise more simple and secure transfers than sending money internationally yourself.
- No Exchange Rate Fluctuation Risk: Exchange rates fluctuate daily, which can lead to short payments. However, if you transfer through us, you don't need to worry about this problem!
※ Additional fees may be required when application fees and tuition are increased.
Application and Money Transfer Process
- Choose all the fees (application, tuition, etc.) you need to pay, and then make the payment.
- We will confirm your transfer within 2 business days and then send you the relevant information via email.
- If you complete the payment before 18:00 KST on Sunday, we will make the transfer on Wednesday; if you pay after 18:00 KST on Sunday, we will make the transfer on the next Wednesday (if Wednesday is a Korean public holiday, the transfer will be postponed to Friday).
- After the transfer is completed, we will send you the proof via email.
※ The above process is based on the assumption that there are no errors in the language school application process. If additional documents need to be submitted or other information needs to be confirmed, the transfer time may be delayed.
Money Transfer Example Cases
- If the applicant makes a payment at 15:00 KST on January 5, 2024 (Friday), we will make the transfer on January 10, 2024 (Wednesday).
- If the applicant makes a payment at 14:00 KST on January 7, 2024 (Sunday), we will make the transfer on January 10, 2024 (Wednesday).
Things to Keep in Mind
- This service is only available for language school application fees and tuition. Assistance on the transfer of other fees such as taxes, shipping fees, accommodation, etc. will not be provided.
- Besides the application fees and tuition, if you need to make a payment for other fees related to the language school, please send an email in advance to help@creatrip.com to inquire (not all payments will be accepted, and the minimum amount must be 300,000 KRW).
- When making a payment, you also need to pay the Creatrip service handling fee.
- After payment, you may be asked to provide additional information, such as the ID and password needed to log into the school website, student number, etc.
- When providing the ID and password, please fill them out accurately (be careful of uppercase and lowercase letters). Also, do not change the ID and password before the payment is successful; otherwise, your application will automatically be canceled.
- If you need a refund due to reasons such as a course cancellation after making a payment, please first inquire with the school about the refund details. The amount will be refunded after deducting the Creatrip handling fees.
- Please note that due to Korean financial regulations, individuals of certain nationalities may experience difficulties with money transfer. In such cases, a full refund will be provided.
