Our Visit
Today I went to the Ilpyeon Eel Myeongdong Main Branch. This is a place where you can have a special experience while eating eel.
There is a notice in various languages at the entrance, so you can read how to use the store!
The interior is really spacious and the wood and camping chair table interiors stood out. I felt like I was at a camping site.
After you're guided to your seat, order the menu you want. Next, it's your turn to shop!
This is a system where you choose your own food to eat with eel in the market. If you make a reservation at Creatrip and write a review, you can get a 8,000 KRW market pass!
First of all, getting side dish is a must. These are the seasoning and ingredients that are essential for eating eel.
You can also cook ramen! There's also dalgona, a snack that became famous after appearing in Squid Game!
You can also take as many alcoholic beverages as you want in a basket.
I also recommend grilling a marshmallow! After you pay for your cart, come back to your seat. And the grill is open in the store right away, so you can also watch a spectacular fire show.
Then start grilling the eel! There's no time to get bored while waiting for food.
In addition to eel as if you were on a camping trip, they bake a variety of side menus such as shrimp, scallops, paprika, and corn.
The firepower is incredible. You can took photos too.
The eel is cooked very well until it turned into a golden brown color.
You know that cooked spring onions are sweet and also really delicious, right?
They season the eel separately in a container. As expected, it sizzles with a rich, smoky flavor—there’s no way this could be bad!
I went to the photo zone waiting for the food.
The panda photo zone is really cute. If you come here, I think there will be a lot of events to take commemorative photos.
And if you go to your seat and sit down, the boss shows you a live eel.
I really feel like I'm on a camping trip.
It's a four-person eel set on the top and a two-person eel set on the bottom. Other than the eel, the side dishes were also very generous.
It would be great to come as a group with your family or friends.
There are also microwaves available for use.
After taking all the pictures, the boss cuts the eel into a good size to eat. Doesn't it look really delicious that the eel looks plump and soft?
I have plenty of things to eat, such as scallops, shrimp, and so on.
You have to wrap the eel with a wrap. I put ginger and seasoning on it.
Roasted corn is also delicious.
I had a lot of fun and ordered makgeolli, a traditional Korean drink. When you're almost done eating the eel, it's your turn to cool down your stomach with spicy ramen. I'll cook the Shin Ramen set I bought at the market earlier.
Finally, the long-awaited highlight: Grilling marshmallows is a must when you come camping, right!
It's amazing that you can enjoy these various camping experiences at an eel restaurant in the middle of Myeongdong.
Ilpyeon Eel Myeongdong offers a one-of-a-kind dining experience with its fun camping-style concept. The eel was not only delicious, but the whole atmosphere made it even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for great food and a unique way to make special memories, this place is a must-visit!
