Whether it's overlooking the mountains with cloudy skies in the backdrop or looking down at the vibrant streets filled with neon signs and cheery pedestrians, I never get sick of sceneries in Seoul. Recently, I discovered a cafe with breathtaking views of the buildings and the mountains, located just minutes from the City Hall.
The location of the cafe makes it perfect for a swing-by for those touring around Cheonggyecheon, Deoksugung Palace or Myeongdong.
As its name suggests, Coffee And Cigarette sells a variety of coffee beverages and cigarettes. Keep in mind that you can't smoke the cigarettes indoors as smoking inside a building is a violation in Korea. You can even purchase little lighters with their logo imprinted!
Upon entrance, you'll find the counter on the left. You can order your drink and food first, but I recommend grabbing a seat first so you can score one with a great view!
Luckily, we were able to get a seat right by the window. From left to right, we got Nu-black Latte (₩7,000), Hibiscus Lemon Tea (₩4,800) and Americano (₩3,800).
Nu-black Latte incorporates the world famous Nutella into the recipe, adding chocolatey elements to the flavours. It would make a perfect drink for those with a sweet tooth!
Hibiscus Lemon Tea and Americano both tasted good, nothing out of the ordinary.
One interesting drink I came across on Coffee And Cigarette's social media was their Cream-ppuccino. It consists of maple syrup-based coffee finished off with foam and housemade cream on top. Looks delish!
We visited after lunch to grab some coffee and tea, and had an amazing experience there. I would definitely go back to Coffee And Cigarette in an evening to catch the sunset with a glass of wine.
