Our Visit
I visited 'Money Planet,' a currency exchange spot located near Myeongdong Station. The bright yellow sign is easy to spot from a distance, making it simple to find.
Located in the popular Myeongdong area, 'Money Planet' is a go-to spot for many foreign tourists. Seeing so many people use it gives me confidence that it's a reliable currency exchange with great benefits.
Right below the sign, there's a monitor displaying exchange rates for different countries. It's great because you can see the real-time rate for your currency.
Currency exchange is done at the counter. Don't forget to bring your ID (passport) as you'll need to present it for the exchange!

I handed over my Japanese yen for the exchange. No need to worry—they even accept the newly issued yen bills.

Money Planet has two entrances. From your current location, either turn right or go straight ahead.
If you go straight, you'll find the entrance to Money Planet on the right-hand side of the building.
If you've spotted the sign above, you've arrived!
You can also make a right turn from that location.
