Our Visit
Today, I visited HOSU DOSAN located in Sinsa-dong and got hair & makeup done. Many celebrities visit HOSU DOSAN for hair and makeup. It's a beauty salon where many celebrities get their hair and makeup done, you can get recommendations from experts and receive similar beauty treatments. It takes about 10 minutes from Apgujeong Rodeo Station.
As soon as I entered, the clean white tones and spacious interior caught my eye. The interior is clean and spacious.
There are private rooms for individuals and doubles, so whether you come alone or with a friend, you can get makeup done privately.
A wide variety of cosmetics were neatly organized, and the lights were brightly lit, making me want to get makeup done right away. The hair & makeup package is exclusively promoted on Creatrip and is being sold at a special price, so I recommend trying it out.
I sat down and started by lifting the bangs and tidying up the skin texture. Clean it gently with soft touches to avoid irritation. It's better to go with only basic skincare when getting makeup.
Apply lotion thoroughly as well.
Start applying the base on the face with a brush.
Use a puff to apply the foundation meticulously.
For areas needing coverage or highlighting, reapply delicately with a brush.
Once the skin makeup is done, start drawing the eyebrows. Let them draw natural-looking eyebrows that suit your face.
After applying a matching shadow and carefully attaching individual false eyelashes, which didn't drop all day even after walking around all day long.
Draw aegyo-sal to make the eyes look bigger.
The final highlight of the makeup is applying lip color with a brush. The touch of a professional is definitely delicate and different.
The adorable fruit juice-like makeup with apricot tones was complete! It looks really lovely when finished. Now that the makeup is done, let's move on to the hair styling!

They added accessories. Various accessories are prepared. They are so diverse that I wanted to try them all.
The director let me choose directly, reflecting my preferred style and direction.
I chose a cute pin, and they made a kitschy X-shaped style. It's a style that many idols are doing these days, and it was nice to experience it too.
Additionally, they braided one side of the hair.
Added a point with different colored rubber bands, and a cute hairstyle was complete!

And my friend receives a hair perm. They also gave she a scalp massage for about 10 minutes while shampooing, which was really refreshing.
They started with a light haircut to tidy up the hair before starting the perm. The stylist recommended a length that suited her current hair length and also cut side bangs that complimented her face shape. So don't worry if you're not very knowledgeable about hair, the stylist will make suggestions to make the experience comfortable and easy!
At HOSU DOSAN, there are two types of perms: general perms and heat perms. She received a heat perm, specifically an S-curl + C-curl perm. To briefly explain the difference between regular perms and heat perms, regular perms involve applying solution 1, then wearing a vinyl cap to allow the solution to set, and then applying solution 2 before styling the hair. Heat perms, on the other hand, use heat tools to directly apply heat to the hair while applying solution 1, and then applying solution 2 before rinsing. Heat perms are popular among those who prefer a more natural look.
After about three hours, her beautiful perm was completed! While waiting, she chatted with the owner and didn't even realize how fast time went by! As someone with very straight hair, she usually have trouble with curling irons and perms, but at HOSU DOSAN, she had no problem at all and got amazing results!
Here's a before and after comparison shot. Putting in S-curls and C-curls is very trendy these days. It's convenient because you don't have to use a curling iron separately if you have medium-length hair like me!
