Haedongyonggungsa Temple

Haedongyonggungsa Temple is one of, if not the most popular tourist attractions in Busan. The temple is located on a cliff on the coast of Busan which is why it is so popular. The serenity of the temple combined with the calm waters of the ocean is a site to remember for life.

The sunsets are said to be indescribable so it is definitely a site you'd want to visit when you're in Busan.

Cheongsapo Port

Cheongsapo Port is a small port town in Busan. The waters here are said to have an abundance of fish so there are plenty of fishing boats ashore. If you're a seafood fan, head over to one of the restaurants on the port to try some of the local seafood whilst looking out into the ocean.

Haeundae can be seen from Cheongapo Port. The two are relatively antipodes as one is a small fishing port and the other has some of the highest skyscrapers in Korea. Come compare the two for yourself!

Huinnyeoul Culture Village

Huinnyeoul Culture Village is a village located on a cliff, facing the East Sea. There are quaint houses and cafes that give off comfy vibes and once you step in, you'll see windows with the most stunning views of the Busan coast. What was once a village on the brink of poverty is now one of the most popular tourist sites in Busan thanks to the many features in Korean television such as Infinite Challenge and in films like The Attorney and Nameless Gangster. Huinnyeoul Culture Village is often compared to Greece's Santorini.

At the base of the village, by the waters, is a coastal walkway with blue tiles that mimic the waves. This is a popular photo spot and can be seen in many social media posts.

Gamcheon Culture Village

Gamcheon Culture Village is also a village located on a slope on the coast of Busan. It is relatively much larger than Huinnyeoul Culture Village and more well known. The houses are painted in vibrant colors of the rainbow and have wall art painted on the walls, decorating each alleyway with artwork.

At the highest point of the village is a statue of the Little Prince. You've probably seen thousands of pictures taken with this statue on social media. The view of the East Sea is also visible here, and the combination of the colorful houses and the coast is a picture-perfect view you have to see for your own eyes.
