Seongsu & Konkuk University Accommodation Guide | Locals' Recommendations

If you're looking for a place to stay during your trip to Seoul, the Konkuk University Station and Seongsu Station areas have some great hotels.

It also might be more convenient to book a hotel here if you need more than one day to do everything you want to do in these areas. Even if you're not on vacation, these hotels would be perfect for a little weekend getaway to spend some time for yourself!

The Classic 500 Pentaz Hotel

This is a residential style hotel with great facilities, including a pool and gym. It's conveniently located by Konkuk University Station and next to the Lotte Department Store.

Please note that they ask for a copy of your credit card at check-in. If you don't have one, they take a deposit of 100,000 won that will be returned at check-out.

The sizes of the rooms are huge, so this hotel is perfect if you're traveling with a group.

This is the room I stayed in. Check-in was at 3pm and check-out at 11am. The interior is a very modern, bright, and white, so it makes the already large room look even bigger and everything seems very clean!

When you walk in through the hallway, you'll a huge king bed.

There's also a couch and TV in the room. Behind the curtains is a huge window where you can look out at the view of the city.

Amenities:

The hotel provided basic toiletries, like a toothbrush, shampoo, and a hair dryer. They also provide complimentary water bottles.

Bathroom:

The bathroom is tucked behind the long table in the middle of the room.

The shower is a booth and on the other side of the sink and it has a nice waterfall shower head.

The hotel has many luxurious facilities, including an outdoor pool, gym, spa, karaoke room, game room, banquet/event space, and screen golf.

H Avenue Kondae

Hotel H Avenue Kondae Branch is a unique hotel with an Eastern European interior design inspired by the movie The Grand Budapest Hotel. The cool, modern furniture will definitely make you've traveled to another country.

They provide basic amenities, such as skincare and lotion and a tea kettle.

Bathroom:

There is a separate bathroom in the room and the rich colors and gold accents give off such a cool vibe unlike any other hotel I've seen.

The facilities available are a rooftop bar, pool (must pay extra), indoor bar and dining, and a gym. It would be so relaxing to grab a beer on the rooftop and enjoy the night view!

Hotel POCO

Hotel POCO is a newly renovated hotel that is conveniently located near Seongsu Station. They even offer pet-friendly rooms!

Amenities:

They offer basic toiletries and also complimentary bottled water and tea bags. The special Pet Room even offers amenities for your dog!

Bathroom:

The bathroom is very simple and clean. The Terrace Suite and Rooftop Royal Suite both have spa bathtubs on the terrace.

The facilities at this hotel are a game pub, lounge, and cafe. You won't run out of things to do both inside the hotel and in the surrounding neighborhood!
