Tamburins Seongsu Flagship Store | 탬버린즈 성수 플래그십스토어
Tamburins is a fragrance brand that is very popular globally! It is made from the same creators as Gentle Monster, and sells a variety of perfumes, hand creams, soaps, etc. The flagship store in Seongsu is a hot spot and just from the exterior, you can see it's very unique!
The brand model is BLACKPINK Jennie, so you can see beautiful photos of her at the store! The popularity of the brand has grown a lot thanks to her!
The interior itself is almost like an exhibition! Even if you don't buy anything here, just looking through the store itself is a fun experience. Currently, this very realistic-looking elderly couple went viral on social media!

If you're into chic, stylish bags, you have to check out Stand Oil! This shop can probably be considered the most popular place to shop in Seongsu at the moment.
You can find the cutest handbags in a variety of colors and sizes, as well as other accessories like hats and wallets.
This store is huge! The first floor even has a photo booth and virtual art displays on the walls. You can find the handbags on the second floor.

Musinsa Standard | 무신사 스탠다드 성수
Musinsa Standard is a Korean brand similar to UNIQLO. You can find lots of simple yet stylistic clothing along with basics, accessories, and even shoes!
The branch in Seongsu is quite large and has two floors!
We made a visit during the winter, so there were lots of cute clothing for winter on display, such as padding jackets, coats, scarves, and more.
We definitely recommend stopping by Musinsa Standard for some trendy Korean-style clothing! The prices are decent and the products are good quality.

OSOI | 오소이
If you're looking for the latest, trendy style of handbags, definitely check out OSOI! The store itself is really nice and there are a lot of cute bags to look at.
You can find various designs in classic colors like black, white, or brown, or more colorful pastels.
The brand also sells clothing and outerwear such as leather jackets and coats. This is a brand that Korean celebrities have been seen wearing as well!

AderError is a Korean fashion brand that is known for its very artistic concepts and collaborations with other popular brands. It is also super hot on social media because the stores are set up like an exhibition and are really fun to see!
This particular location in Seongsu has a space theme! Doesn't it look so cool?
It's really fun to look around the store and take photos or videos! Keep in mind that it is quite a popular spot, so you may need to wait in line to get inside.
They also have clothing and accessories you can check out, as well as a cafe called Tongue!

fwee AGIT SEONGSU | 퓌 아지트 성수
If you're a K-beauty fan, you've definitely heard of fwee! It's the the hottest brand these days and has gained even more attention after re-branding.
The shop, called fwee AGIT SEONGSU, opened up in Seongsu in February of 2024 and went viral on social media platforms due to the Lip & Cheek Blurry Pudding Pot product, which is popular globally!
The shop itself is also super cute and offers special perks like a free keyring to customers that make a purchase. It's a must-visit if you're a K-beauty fanatic!

Space Wadiz | 성수 공간 와디즈
Space Wadiz in Seongsu is described as a "cultural complex" and is unique because all of the products sold are items you can find on wadiz, the largest crowdfunding platform in Korea. So, all the items in the store are actually crowdfunded products created by many different individuals and start-ups.
Inside, you'll find so many different kinds of products. I was surprised by the wide variety! They had cosmetics, games, food, tech accessories, clothes, and more. It's fun just to look around at all of these products you won't be able to find anywhere else.
On the second floor, there is a cafe and little work space, and on the third floor, there is a cute rooftop. When the weather is good, it would be nice to relax up there with a cup of coffee!

Marhen.J is quite a popular brand for handbags! All their products are vegan and made with sustainable materials! Many Korean celebrities and influencers have been seen carrying these handbags around as well.
The brand is most well-known for the Rico bag, but there are many other designs that are widely popular as well.
The store is quite big and has 2 stories, so you'll have plenty of bags to look at while you're there! They have everything from mini bags to large totes.

Matin Kim | 마뗑킴
Matin Kim is a fashion brand that sells clothing, bags, hats, wallets, etc., and is sported by many celebrities and influencers.
The products are a bit on the pricier side, but are of good quality and enjoyed by many on a global scale.
If you get a chance, check out the store in Seongsu! The brand is most well-known for its wallets and t-shirts.

Seongsu Yeonbang | 성수연방
Seongsu Yeonbang, like Space Wadiz, is another hot cultural space in Seongsu. This is a newly reborn space built by renovating an old chemical factory, and there are many unique shops, cafes, and restaurants.
This is Thinggool Store (띵굴스토어) on the first floor. It's a lifestyle shop selling a variety of items from interior decor to cosmetics made with natural ingredients!
You can also look around at many other interesting products and high-quality t-shirts and leather bags. The prices range from fashion socks at 4,500 KRW to coats for 100,000 KRW and up.

Shopping in Konkuk University Area
Common Ground | 커먼그라운드
Common Ground is the largest container shopping mall in the world. They house a lot of youthful, street style brands, but also have many cafes and restaurants if you need a break from shopping. You may have seen people posing for pictures in front of the blue containers on Instagram!
Inside, you'll find big brands like Adidas and Nike, but also trendy boutique shops to satisfy all your shopping needs. For the brands like Adidas and Nike, the prices are similar to those on their websites with occasional sales. The boutiques on the second floor seemed to have items starting at around 30,000 KRW.
Don't worry, there's lots of other things to look at besides clothes. There's stores selling household goods, accessories, stationary, and even pet clothes!

M Playground Konkuk Univ. Branch | 건데 엠플레이그라운드
M Playground is a popular clothing store with many branches around Korea. They are known for having a wide variety of very affordable clothes in the latest trends. Most items are between 10,000~30,000 KRW!
They also carry lots of good basics, so it's a good store to check out if you're in need of a plain shirt or hoodie. They also have clothing in the latest trends, so you'll find rows and rows of clothing and accessories to try on.
There are so many different styles of clothes, so whether you're looking for sporty, street-style, or more feminine, you'll find it here. I was tempted to buy something myself! If you go to M Playground, don't forget to download our coupon for 5% off!

Sigonggan | 시공간
Sigonggan is a super popular and easily recognizable jewelry store with other branches in the Hongdae area. There are shelves upon shelves from floor to ceiling filled with jewelry and other hair accessories. It's a jewelry-lover's paradise!
There's almost an overwhelming amount of items and you could spend all day looking through them all. They have everything from trendy, flashy earrings to simple hoops. The prices start around 10,000 won depending on the material of the jewelry.
In addition to jewelry and accessories, they also sell some clothes. They were color-coordinated, so it was very easy to look through!

The Nine Mall | 더나인몰
Right next to Common Ground is The Nine Mall, a cute little stationary and tech accessory store.
The bright white interior makes the store look very clean and all of their products stand out, so it's very easy to look around and find what you want. Many phone cases were on sale for 11,000 won and cute accessories like hand mirrors and pens are available for under 10,000 won, so it's definitely affordable.
There's so many adorable phone cases, AirPod cases, postcards, stickers, and more. It'll be hard to look around without getting something for yourself!

Street Shopping
There are so many other boutique stores selling products at a wide range of prices along the Konkuk University Food Street by Konkuk University Station Exit 2. You can see the latest trending fashion styles that all the young students are wearing these days. Most stores have clothes that cost between 20,000-50,000 won.
While walking around, I'm sure you'll come across a store you want to check out! It'll be a good way to digest and get some steps in after eating at one of the delicious restaurants nearby.
