You can get closer to Seoul National University and Gwanaksan Mountain by taking the Sillim Line. For Seoul National University, take numbers 5511, 5513, and 5516.

There is a course you can take to hike Mt. Gwanak. Nakseongdae side, Seoul National University of Technology side Sadang Station Anyang. Bongcheon-dong, Samsung Mountain, etc. There are a lot of them. I can go up from Seoul National University by bus to the end of the College of Engineering. It is easy to go up to the ridge of Crane Rock. It is cold in winter. In summer, it is very good for trekking because of the valley road and shade from Sillim Line Gyaaksan Station.

There is only one entrance. It is the last stop of a small subway station that can take you to Seoul National University and the entrance to Gwanaksan Mountain. Restrooms are located outside the station ticket gate.
