To be honest, I was bit concerned about this hotel after reading such awful reviews but decided to risk it as the location was so convenient. I am so glad we stayed at U5. As a family of 4(teen kids) from Australia, we stayed for 12 days(Christmas/New Year) and had the most wonderful time and rested well at night. (best sleep!!) Room was big enough for 4 of us(considering it is located middle of Seoul), clean(just like any other good hotels) , great location(close to markets, train stations)and all the staff were friendly(spoke good English and Chinese so had no issue with communication.) I am glad I ignored the bad reviews and took the risk.I would strongly recommend this hotel to all my friends! Thank you U5 for making our Korea trip so memorable and comfortable. I will come back!!!5

Hotel U5 Seoul offers a decent standard room that met my basic accommodation needs. Its proximity to Eujiro4 station was a definite plus, making it convenient for exploring the city.
However, I found the breakfast options to be quite basic, which could be a letdown for those who enjoy a more diverse morning meal. The cafe on the 1st floor was convenient but didn't offer an extensive menu.
Overall, Hotel U5 Seoul is a suitable choice if you prioritize location and don't mind a straightforward breakfast experience.2

The whole hotel is not logical at all. The drainage hole is located on half shower and half under lavabo. No height gap between room and restroom which leads flooding. 3ppls room but not allowed to open one 29’ luggage. Not room keeping everyday or you should tell the reception every morning to keep your room clean. Even though, after room keeping, the room is still not clean from the beginning to the end. No security at all, everyone can get in the elevator to any floors. Room’s door is deformed that hard to close well.
