Informazioni

  • 'Bukchon Darakbang' is a private rental stay that preserves an authentic traditional hanok where a real family has lived since the 1920s. It is not a newly built hanok made for tourists, so you can still feel the original layout and lived-in atmosphere, making it a great place to experience a more genuine hanok lifestyle in Bukchon.
  • This is a space that has been maintained and repaired using soil and natural materials, and inside, the natural grain of reclaimed Korean pine stands out beautifully. Especially when sunlight pours in, the wood and hanok structure come together to create a quiet, warm mood.
  • It is a private, standalone home (about 15 pyeong) with a courtyard, living room, 2 bedrooms, an attic loft, a kitchen, and a private bathroom. Only the reservation holder uses the entire house, so you can stay privately. It is most comfortable for 2 guests, and can accommodate up to 4.
  • Many of the details throughout the space, such as bedding, curtains, dishes, tables, and plants, are custom-made or handmade. With lots of handcrafted pieces you do not usually see at typical accommodations, it is easy to take naturally aesthetic photos during your stay.
  • It is located a 1-minute walk from Bukchon 8 Views, one of the most iconic photo spots in Bukchon Hanok Village. A bus stop is also within a 5-minute walk, making it easy to plan your trip together with nearby attractions like Anguk Station, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and Insadong, and vehicles can also access right up to the front of the house for convenient access.
  • Zero-waste amenities are provided, including a shampoo bar, face&body soap, toothpaste tablets, and a bamboo toothbrush. There is also a small-group one-day class where you can make your own natural shampoo bar inside the hanok, so you can enjoy a special traditional and eco-friendly experience along with your stay.
