Asians are generally known for having a youthful appearance, often appearing to not age for years, but that's not always the case.
Today, let's look at some celebrities who people were surprised to find out were the same age.
If you were to list the characters from the hit Netflix K-drama D.P. by age, it would go Corporal Han Ho-yul, Captain Im Ji-sup, Sergent Park Bum-gu, and Battalion Commander Chun Yong-duk.
However, it was revealed that actor Hyun Bong-sik, who was the oldest, Battalion Commander Chun Yong-duk, was actually the youngest amongst these actors. In addition, Koo Kyo-hwan, who played Corporal Han Ho-yul was revealed to be 40 years old, which shocked in a different sense.
As Korean actors often play roles much younger or older than their actual age, the audience often has a hard time guessing the actors' ages, so there are quite a few actors who surprised people when their age was revealed.

You might not be familiar with these celebrities, but we wanted to introduce them because they are famous for being surprisingly the same age.
On the left is singer Lee Seung-hwan, nicknamed the Little Prince for his face that seems to not age at all over the years. On the right is rock musician Kim Tae-won, nicknamed the Nation's Grandmother.
Both were born in 1965 and are the same age, 56-years-old this year international age. Lee Seung-hwan constantly surprises people by continuing to maintain a very youthful style. It's hard to believe he's in his mid-50s!
