Park Seo-Joon Looks Back on His Acting Career

On April 20, Esquire Korea magazine’s May 2020 issue was published which includes pictures of actor Park Seo-joon collaborating with Mont Blanc and an interview. Recently, Park Seo-Joon has gained even more fame from playing Park Sae Ro Yi on Itaewon Class.
He said in the interview, “I was never interested in social issues, but because of Park Sae Ro Yi, I got to think more about them while filming. This made me grow as a person." Subsequently, Park Seo-Joon said, "Itaewon Class was a returning point rather than a turning point." and added, “It was a chance to look back on my short acting career.”
Blackpink on Lady Gaga's New Album

On April 22, girl group Blackpink posted on Twitter saying they will feature on Lady Gaga’s upcoming studio album 'Chromatica'. It was initially scheduled to be released on April 10th but because of COVID-19, it got postponed and the new release date has not been announced.
Blackpink will be featured on track No. 10, entitled “Sour Candy.” Blackpink's agency said, "Blackpink and Lady Gaga have listened to each others’ songs and become fans of each other, which naturally led to this collaboration.”

Actor Song Seung-heon will appear in 'I Live Alone' on April 24th. He has lived by himself for 10 years and will show the viewers his daily routine on this MBC entertainment show.

Girl Group MOMOLAND Donates 10,000 Anti-Bacterial Mask Cases

On April 21, K-pop girl group MOMOLAND donated 10,000 WecanG anti-bacterial mask cases to help and overcome COVID-19. This is worth about ₩100 million and will be given to low-income households in South Korea.
MOMOLAND left a message of support saying “We donated to support many people suffering from COVID-19 and hope that WecanG anti-bacterial mask cases can help prevent COVID-19 from spreading."
Girl Group (G)I-DLE Donates 30,000 Hand Sanitizers

On April 17, girl group (G)I-DLE donated 30,000 hand sanitizers to children and families in poor living conditions across South Korea. The hand sanitizers are worth about ₩100 million and (G)I-DLE wanted to support Korea in overcoming the COVID-19 epidemic.
"Many people have given us so much love. Through this opportunity, we would like to share the love we have received. It’s a tough time for all of us, so we hope we all can get through it,” said (G)I-DLE. Offering a meaningful donation and showing concern for COVID-19 outbreak.
Twice Gifts an Unforgettable Memory to a Fan

On April 23, the JYP Entertainment reported the K-pop girl group Twice presented an unforgettable memory to a patient with a brain tumour.
The patient, Seung-Hwan Oh (15), listened to Twice's song to overcome his pain after a painful treatment. This story was sent to JYP Entertainment by Make-A-Wish Foundation. Twice was moved by this and sent a computer with a message of hope to Seung-Hwan.
"We heard you would listen to our songs after a painful treatment. It must have been hard but thank you for going through with the treatment with bravery. We will support your dream," said Twice.

This penguin mascot in South Korea is a sensation. This funny, cute, adorable, witty, and cool-looking penguin is called Pengsoo. The whole population of South Korea pretty much knows who Pengsoo is.
Pengsoo has been on many TV shows, but has gone further releasing a song called 'This is PENGSOO'. He raps and performs his signature yodel in the song. This song immediately reached no.1 on major music streaming charts. The song features Tiger JK, Bizzy and Bibi. Pengsoo wishes this song to reach the Billboard charts.
Pengsoo announced the profit from this song will be used to celebrate World Penguin Day, which is on the 25th of April.
