Our Visit

I visited Gomguk Sijib, a noodle restaurant located in Myeong-dong. As a restaurant with a 47-year history, it has a nostalgic atmosphere. If you go around 1 pm after the busy lunch hour for Korean office workers, you can enjoy your meal more comfortably with less of a crowd.

There are also private rooms available, so if you want to enjoy your meal in a quieter setting, you can make use of them.

The dumplings came out first. At Gomguk Sijib, the dumplings are hand-made from scratch! If you're lucky, you might even be able to see the staff making the dumplings themselves. Unlike instant dumplings, these ones are chewy and moist. The price is also affordable, so you should definitely give them a try.

Next up is the highly anticipated hot pot noodles! They bring uncooked noodles to the table and cook them right in front of you!

The hot pot noodles are boiling. They'll be ready to eat in no time. The staff will serve it to you in the most delicious state. It tastes even better with some kimchi on top. Gomguk Sijib's kimchi is also really delicious.

Even if you add meat on top of the noodles like this, it still tastes delicious!

Lastly, there's a Gomguksijib set that can only be reserved through Creatrip. It includes premium 2+ grade Flower Tenderloin and seasoned beef ribs along with Gomguk noodles. The combination of grilled meat and clear Gomguk broth is really amazing! You should definitely try it out.

Please continue straight.

If you see an intersection, please keep going straight.

If you see a three-way intersection, please continue straight.
