Our Visit
Every winter, Seoul opens a sledding hill in the city so that people can enjoy winter activities without having to travel far. Due to the epidemic, the Ttukseom Han River Park Sledding Hill hasn't been open for a few years, but was finally reopened in December of 2022! The sledding hill will be open from December 23rd, 2022 to February 12th, 2023, so be sure to stop by when you get a chance! You can get to the sledding hill easily from Ttukseom Park Station Exit 2.
First, stop by the ticket counter near the entrance. You can purchase tickets here without making a reservation in advance.
Once you receive your ticket, hand it to an employee and enter the gate. Please keep in mind that once you enter the sledding park area, you cannot leave and re-enter. If you leave the area and wish to re-enter, you will have to buy another ticket.
Inside, the sledding park is filled with snow! The white snow against the background view of the Han River is really pretty to look at. Both children and adults enjoy coming here to have fun!
There are 2 main slopes at Ttukseom Han River Sledding Park, a short slope and a long slope. You can opt for either one, but the long slope is more fun!
First, you'll need to grab a tube. There are tubes available for everyone so you can just grab any one that you like! The tubes are made of rubber so they are very smooth!
You can get a lot of cute photos in the tube as well!
Once you've gotten a tube, get in line to ride down the slope! There is no conveyer belt so you will have to walk up the slope, but it isn't that tiring so don't worry!
As you're waiting in line, you can watch others coming down the slope and see how they come down. You can sled down alone or hold onto your friends and slide down together! It's so much fun!
At the top, you'll have to wait for your turn to slide down. The view from the top was really nice too!
It looks a bit steep, but the ride down was so fun! You can go up and down the slope as many times as you like!
In addition to the snow slopes, there is a snow-covered area on the side where you can also try out plastic sleds!
You can use these plastic sleds and slide around the snow in any way you want!
You can enjoy the snow in other ways too, like making a snowman or having a snowball fight!
There is another area with more activities you can enjoy, such as a trampoline or a little shrimp fishing area. For these activities, you will need to buy separate tickets. The shrimp fishing experience is 6,000 KRW for 20 minutes and a maximum catch of 15 shrimp.
After you're done at the sledding park, you can head to the food court near the entrance to enjoy some hot food! All the prices for the food items are listed on the wall, so you can refer to them before ordering.
We ordered fish cake udon noodles (6,000 KRW), tteokbokki (4,500 KRW), and Colpab (4,000 KRW), which is Cola + popcorn chicken. Overall, the food was not amazing, but it was good enough and nice to have after using up energy at the sledding park! You can also use a medium-sized locker here if needed. It's 1,000 KRW per hour and only accepts 500 KRW coins, so be sure to prepare coins beforehand if you'll be using the locker!
