Chasunchaek
(차선책)
Address: 부산시 수영구 광안해변로 237 3층
3F, 237 Gwanganhaebyeon-ro, Suyeong-gu, Busan
Hours: 11:00 - 22:00
We came across this cafe when we were looking for cafes with views of the Gwangan Bridge and it did not disappoint! The Busan ocean views were clear and undisturbed especially if you sit by the wide window facing the Gwangan Bridge.
What really surprised us was the quality of the drinks and desserts they had, all of which are made in-house.
We opted for a beverage from their signature menu, the Injeolmi Latte, featuring a Korean rice cake coated in a semi-sweet roasted soybean powder. The nutty essence of the rice cake blended seamlessly with the sweet coffee and cream, creating a harmonious flavor profile. To top it off, the drink was adorned with Injeolmi cubes on a stick, which proved to be the softest and most delectable rice cakes of its kind we've ever tasted.
The Mugwort Gateau cake proved to be a delightful surprise with its soft and moist texture. The combination of cream and nuts added on top provided a satisfying contrast of textures that elevated the overall experience.
The cafe's serene ambiance, adorned with nature-inspired decor, exuded a tranquil and Zen-like atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing break. Coupled with the stunning ocean view, it made for an ideal spot to indulge in delectable desserts. If you're in search of a peaceful haven to enjoy some exquisite treats, Chasunchaek is definitely worth a visit.
