Seoul 2-day Trip2026-01-31 ~ 2026-02-01
Around Anguk Station in Seoul.
Close to Gyeongbokgung and Bukchon Hanok Village, this area is a very charming part of Korea with traditional streetscapes. It’s popular with tourists, but if you walk a little further you’ll find quiet, peaceful alleys, making it one of my personal favorite neighborhoods.
This time I stayed in the Anguk area. I was able to enjoy the quiet morning hours. I love this kind of atmosphere.

Among them, what I was especially looking forward to this time was the shop where I could experience 'Tea Therapy', which had caught my attention for a while.
As the name suggests, it’s a place where you can restore your mind and body through tea, and they offer a slightly unusual but charming service where you can enjoy a foot bath while sipping tea.
It's conveniently located for access from Anguk Station, so it's nice and easy to stop by between sightseeing. When you step inside, a calm, relaxed atmosphere opens up, and a peaceful sense of time flows that contrasts with the bustle outside. The exterior is also very beautiful, with a charming blend of Korean ambiance and modern sensibility.
As for language worries when traveling abroad, this shop has staff who speak Japanese very well, so you can feel at ease. They explain everything carefully, so even first-timers can relax and enjoy the experience. I usually travel alone, and it always works out. Haha

First, you start by choosing a foot bath mix and a tea to match how you feel that day. There’s a huge variety of teas, and I really had trouble deciding which one to pick.
For those who might be unsure which to choose, they even provided a chart so you can pick according to your condition and how you feel. It’s very clear and convenient, since you can choose while checking your body’s state and mood.
I chose a tea recommended for winter this time. It might be a seasonal special, but it sounded perfect for the cold season, so after hesitating I went with it. Part of the reason was that I wanted to warm up from the morning.
This shop also has the appeal that it opens from 10:00 AM. Since you can stop by before sightseeing, it lets you ease into your morning at a relaxed pace. You walk a lot while traveling and can get tired, so having this kind of time is really appreciated. It’s a foot bath experience while being seen by passersby and other tourists. Haha
The tea I chose was Pear Omija tea (Peo-mija tea).
One of Korea's traditional teas, it combines the gentle sweetness of pear with the flavor of Omija (Schisandra) for a very soothing taste. It has a light sweetness, is very easy to drink, and was delicious. I love Omija tea and tend to choose it whenever I can 😮💨
For the foot bath, I chose the cinnamon water. A soft cinnamon scent rose from the water, and just that aroma was very soothing. The moment I dipped my feet in, I felt my body slowly warming up. It was warm and pleasant 🌿
The foot bath can be enjoyed for 10–15 minutes. It’s not too short or too long, just the right amount of time to relax and sip tea. Soaking your feet in warm water while drinking tea feels truly indulgent, like a little retreat.
When you travel you end up walking a lot, and this happened to be the last day of my trip. My feet had built up some fatigue by then, but while soaking in the foot bath I felt my body slowly relax. By the time it ended, the tiredness in my feet felt noticeably lighter.
Warm tea from the inside, the soothing warmth of a foot bath from the outside. Being able to enjoy both at the same time was more comforting than I had imagined.
Also, the atmosphere makes it easy to come in even when you're alone. It's a quiet, calm space where you can relax at your own pace. I think it's a place you can stop by with confidence even during solo travel.

After the foot bath, you can simply drain the water and leave, which makes for a very straightforward experience. The ease of trying it out is part of its charm.
In the bustling Anguk area, I found a special spot where you can pause for a moment and soothe your mind and body: a beautiful space, pleasant scents, warm tea, and a foot bath.
All of it combined allowed me to enjoy a very luxurious and peaceful time.
This is a place I recommend for taking a break during sightseeing, refreshing at the start of your trip, or enjoying a relaxing moment at the end of your journey.
If you have a chance to visit the Anguk area, be sure to stop by.
I'm sure you'll be able to experience an exquisite, deeply relaxing time.
