I'm a part‑time worker girl who fell in love with Korea 🇰🇷
My days off are in Korea! Usually once a month, I enjoy delicious food, hang out with my boyfriend, and fully enjoy Korea😚🤍
The place I'm introducing is in Tomikawa, a cafe where you can feel like you've come to a botanical garden cafe aip.
Yokgok (역곡)This café is located a little away from a residential area about a 20-minute bus ride from the station.
My boyfriend's friend works here, so I went to say hello and for that reason 😆😆
The building has a brick look and a stylish atmosphere like something you might find in a European town
A large teddy bear is placed at the entrance to welcome customers 🧸
The interior has a simple, white-based design and is spacious.
The venue has plenty of seats and is perfect for relaxing comfortably.
Right inside, there were lots of colorful, stylish ceramic plant pots on display.
It kind of feels like a trade show, doesn’t it? lol
This café has a wide drink menu and offers cute-looking foods such as bread served with kaymak, a dessert extremely popular in Korea, and tiramisu styled to resemble plants.
I went around 5 PM in the evening, and there were quite a lot of customers.
I quickly grabbed a seat and, while chatting with my boyfriend's friend, chose from the menu 👀
What we ordered was '애플시나몬라떼(Apple cinnamon latte)' and '돌체라떼(Dolcelatte)' and '티라미수케이크(Tiramisu cake)'.
Apple cinnamon latte is topped with sweet cinnamon-spiced apples.
The drink was layered with sweet milk and cinnamon syrup.
If you don't stir it well, only the syrup will get into the straw and the sweetness might hurt your throat—lol
The syrup didn't want to blend with the milk easily, so it was a little troublesome...
Stir the apple cinnamon latte well before drinking ⚠️
It's fairly sweet and heavy, so it's recommended for those with a sweet tooth!
Dolcelatte was more bitter than I expected, but the sweetness that followed eased it and made it easy to drink.
My boyfriend drinks iced americanos every day, but he seems to like this dolce latte—also called a 'condensed milk latte'—because you can taste both bitterness and sweetness ☕️
The glass was just a little smaller than at other cafés, so the drink wasn’t very large!
Tiramisu cake looks like a flowerpot and is incredibly cute! Plus it tastes absolutely delicious!!
The tiramisu was layered with crumbled cocoa cookies, coffee-scented cheese cream, chocolate sponge, and coffee sponge.
This tiramisu is quite sweet, so a tea-based drink or a crisp drink like an Americano might pair better than a sweet drink 👍🏻
I didn't eat this time, but I'll also report on the kaymak bread kaimak pan I tried when I went with a local friend before 📝😀
Actually, this was my first time trying kaimaku without even realizing it… lol
My boyfriend recommended it, so I ate it together with my friends.
We ate it by spreading kaymak drizzled with honey on soft white bread; the rich, smooth cream was an excellent match with the bread!
If I had to choose between tiramisu and kaymak bread... I can't decide, I'm too torn 😂😂
Mid-summer in Korea is as hot as in Japan, but indoor places often have blastingly cold air conditioning and felt chilly, so you might want to be careful…?
There won’t be blankets or similar preparations, so it’s best to dress in layers so you can adjust with your clothing!

It looks like there are plant-related items inside.
There aren't that many varieties, are there?
It seems you insert and turn it with a coin rather than money, so if you're curious you can ask the cashier staff and that's fine 🙆🏻♀️
There was actually a plant sale alongside it, and I noticed some couples buying plants and taking them home.
As expected, it's surrounded by nature…
I also would have liked to buy at least one to take home with meㅠㅠ
This photo zone has hanging flower umbrellas!
The area around the chair is full of flowers, so taking photos here is sure to look great 👍🏻
The terrace seating is apparently lit up at night!
This also has a certain atmosphere and gives the feeling I could take some beautiful photos…
I'd like to relax and refresh on the terrace again once the summer heat is gone ☀️
When you stop by this cafe, from the moment you walk in you can feel nature everywhere — the furniture, the shop design, the desserts, right down to every corner 🌱
If you want to forget the urban atmosphere of Seoul surrounded by buildings and spend a peaceful time, this is a café you should visit at least once!
