Seoul 5-day Trip5 Days
With **“Korean Travel”** as the theme, this journey felt like a dream slowly unfolding. I let my feet wander through the streets, my heart settle into history, and my camera capture the most genuine version of myself. The most unforgettable experience was wearing a hanbok and taking a traditional photo shoot in Korea—for a moment, it truly felt like stepping back in time.
Early in the morning, the air in Seoul was fresh and crisp as I walked into a hanbok rental shop. Inside, layers of colorful skirts bloomed like flowers. The staff carefully helped me choose a style, patiently explaining fabrics, color combinations, and hair accessories. As each piece of the hanbok was placed on me, I could feel the weight of the fabric and the softness of its lines. When I looked into the mirror, I was no longer just a traveler, but someone who seemed to have stepped out of an old painting.
Entering Gyeongbokgung Palace, the red walls and green rooftops glowed gently under the sunlight. Dressed in a hanbok, my steps naturally slowed. I could hear the wind brushing through the trees and sense the quiet whispers of history. The photographer guided me to stand by palace gates and along covered corridors, teaching me how to pose with grace and subtle elegance. Each click of the shutter preserved a fragment of this journey. Passersby smiled and nodded—strangers, yet warm—making me feel even more connected to the city.
Beyond the hanbok photo shoot, I fell in love with Korea’s everyday scenes. The aroma of coffee drifting through alleyways, the steaming tteokbokki at night markets, and the endless variety of drinks in convenience stores all carried the warmth of daily life. On the subway, students, office workers, and travelers blended into the rhythm of the city. At night, from a high vantage point, countless lights shimmered like a quiet galaxy spread across the ground.
This Korean trip was not about hurried sightseeing or ticking off landmarks, but about encountering culture and having a conversation with myself. The moment I put on the hanbok, I understood why people are drawn to tradition—it is not just the past, but a living beauty that continues to breathe. When I left Korea with photos and memories, I also left a place in my heart, waiting for the day I return to continue writing my own travel story.
