Korean Hair and Makeup Experience

This time, since it's a special occasion, I wanted to try a hair and makeup experience and get a personal color analysis, so I made a reservation with my sister for a personal color analysis and daily hair and makeup plan.
SHEJAC Hair & Makeup
Address
49 Apgujeong-ro 2-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul
It's located in an area with many restaurants, and at first I wondered if it was really okay here, but the reception is on the third floor of the building.
Let's start with a personal color analysis.
Unlike in Japan, instead of using a dress cape, we use something like this. Among these colors are skin tones, lip and cheek colors, and hair colors.

Since I was with my younger sister, two people assisted us. The woman could speak Japanese. I communicated with the other man through a translation app.
They also checked my hair color along with this kind of personal color analysis.
It seems that hair colors that are a bit dark, but not jet-black—slightly brownish—suit you better than brighter ones.

They also explained in detail which lipstick colors suit me.

After the personal color analysis, I went to get my hair styled and my sister went for makeup.
The person doing my hair was the man from the personal color analysis. I talked with him about the hairstyle I wanted using a translation app, but since I didn't have any specific style in mind, I left it up to him. He checked the amount of hair I have and suggested reducing it since it's thick, so I decided to get an extra cut as well.
Well, this time I used points and was able to book hair and makeup cheaper, so that was good, but just the cut was 88,000w. Expensive, haha.
I was fine with it because I was planning to cut it soon anyway, but when I met up with my sister and listened to her, she said that another hair stylist told her she should get layers and cut her hair, so she got it cut, but instead of getting layers, they just made it shorter.
For now, after I finish my haircut, I'll go to makeup.
The makeup room is on the 4th floor.
I was surprised when I walked in—there were makeup products covering the whole desk! There were so many lined up, from affordable brands to high-end cosmetics.

I was surprised to see so many makeup products in the drawer
The makeup was done by a woman who speaks Japanese and does personal color analysis. When I talked to her, I found out she’s done makeup for famous people in Japan and Korea, and she was really skilled.
And as for eyelashes, I still used to heat a bamboo skewer with a lighter and curl my lashes, haha.
I wanted to know what you used for this makeup, but you didn’t share that, and honestly, you were mixing several different products like eyeshadows, so it probably wouldn’t be much help anyway. Maybe the way you did your makeup was helpful, though.
After quickly finishing my makeup, I went back to the 3rd floor for hair styling.
At first, I thought this kind of vibe was nice, but the hairstylist seemed really particular and kept using the iron over and over, and honestly, I started getting bored. I guess they really wanted to lift the roots, so they used a zigzag iron and kept lifting my hair with a straight iron, doing it over and over again.
Rather, I wondered if it's okay to use the iron so much and if it wouldn't cause a lot of damage.
Well, that's how it ended up finished.

Required time: 3 hours. Hmm, for tourists, 3 hours is a bit too much time. I mean, it's just daily hair and makeup, after all.
Well, if you look at it another way, you could say they put a lot of care into it and did it carefully.
They did a personal color analysis and did my makeup based on that. It was as I expected for me, but my sister's personal color analysis was different from what she thought, so she was worried if the colors she doesn't usually use would suit her. But once her makeup was done, she realized that they actually suited her surprisingly well, and she said she learned something new.
But honestly, once is enough for me. I wasn't really moved, and to be honest, I just felt like, 'Oh, so this is what it's like.'
Since there were a lot of photo booths near the salon, I was able to enjoy many Korean photo booths too.
I think the cost performance is good, but when making plans, I think it's better to schedule with plenty of time.
