From Seoul to Ganghwa Island.

Ganghwa Island is an island located above (north side) of Incheon International Airport and is famous for 'Dolmen(고인돌)', so this time we decided to visit for the first time!
Yeoncheon, a famous place as a place of exile during the Joseon Dynasty, where King Yeonsan and King Gwanghae also lived. I wanted to visit the place where King Yeonsan spent his last days, but unfortunately, due to time constraints, this visit was only to Dolmen(Coin Dol) 💦
The thing is, it's not an island you can get to by subway or train, so if you're coming from Seoul, you'll have to use a bus or taxi, and before you know it, the day will be over in no time with travel and transfer time...

First, take the red bus '3000' from Shinmura and after about 2 hours, you will arrive at the final stop, Eka Bus Terminal.

From here, transfer to the bus bound for Coindoor.
However, unlike Seoul, there are fewer bus services! It's more like whether there is one every hour, so it's better not to expect transfer discounts...
Ride the bus with 'Dolmen(고인돌)' written on it and arrive in about 20 minutes!
The buses on Ganghwa Island are strange because the seats right behind the driver and the seats right by the entrance are facing the opposite direction of travel 😅 I still don't understand why they have that kind of seating arrangement... I tried sitting there once, but it was awkward the whole time because I was facing the other passengers 😂

Arrived safely at the destination!✨
It takes quite a bit of time from Seoul city, but the transfer was only once, so it wasn't difficult 😊
You can see Dolmen(고인돌) just a short walk from the nearest bus stop👍 I thought it was more in the mountains, so I was able to easily find it and was a little disappointed 😅

But I was able to see up close what I had seen in the photos, and I felt a very refreshing feeling of accomplishment for being able to arrive safely after more than 3 hours ✨
Here is also a location for the Korean drama 'The King Loves' 😆

Also, right next door are the Ganghwa History Museum and the Ganghwa Natural History Museum, so we recommend checking the bus schedule before visiting!
In the history of Ganghwa Island, Japanese people are inevitably involved, so they also appear in various exhibits.
When the mother who came to visit was talking to her child about the Japanese army, it was a little awkward. I guess this is a common thing at history museums 😅

I couldn't coordinate the timing of the bus and ended up waiting at the bus stop for about 40 minutes 😅 Since there are hardly any people in the area, I think it gradually becomes lonely as it gets dark 💦 I recommend arriving back around 3 pm 😅
On the way back, just like when I came, I transferred to bus number 3000 at the Ganghwa Passenger Terminal and safely returned to Sinchon in Seoul around 5 pm 😊

This time, we left at 9 am and could only sightsee at one place because we were traveling by bus, but next time, I want to use a rental car and sightsee as much as possible!
Everyone, please be sure to go and check it out♪
