The staff made the hotel experience exceptional. I was there for 2 weeks in march together with my sister, and not one time there were staff members who didn't go above and beyond. The residence deluxe room was spacious and comfortable. The location right at the Dongdaemun History and Culture Park Station was fantastic. A lot of restaurants are nearby as well. Everything that you can wish for! Thanks a lot for the effort.

First time visiting Seoul and we were on a business trip, stayed here as it was close to the convention center. We were very pleased with our stay! We are American and found the rooms very spacious, clean, and comfortable. Service was very accommodating, food at the restaurant was good and maids were great. Very comfy beds, great sheets, really nice shower. Lots of great food, coffee, and shopping within short walk.

We went to Seoul to visit my inlaws. Because we wanted to have a quiet safe haven in the busy city (with our five-year-old) we opted for a larger room with a bit of luxury. It might have been the best hotel experience I have ever had. It was a lot of money but it was worth it. I could not see exaclty what the room was like (a floor plan in the room description would be great) but when we arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. The room was massive. Bed was large enough to accomodate 2 m worth of proud European and it was clean and well kept. Staff was very friendly and their English was good. The gym was the best I have ever seen in a hotel and the pool was nice. The changing area is a bit uncomfortable though. Very little place to put your stuff while you are changing and because of the no shoe policy, navigating a wet floor with socks or bare feet is unhandy. Location is great, close to the Dongdaemun Design plaza. Many subway lines come together here. And exit number 3 (past a little underground shopping mall) takes you really close to the hotel entrance. If I can justify parting with such an amount of cash once again, we will be back.

I'd definitely stay here again if back in Seoul. We were lucky enough to be booked into the Executive Suites which gave us access to the executive lounge. Great breakfast and dinner available from here. The pool was a nice addition (although lots of posing young couples in the rooftop pool ☺️)

I stayed here for one night in the Junior Suite on the 27th floor. At checkin, there was a line of about 10 minutes. Even though I was greeted properly, I have not seen anything like this in other 5-star hotels. The room itself was great with a stunning view over Seoul. The bathroom, especially in the shower area, had dirty wall joints. The room has everything you need for a stay in Seoul. Even a washing machine which is great if you do not have the time to have your clothes dry-cleaned. The hotel has four elevators for guests staying in their suites. One of the four elevators was reserved. Found this somewhat strange. The wait time for the elevator going up and down can be a pain. Breakfast was mediocre at best. I had hoped that there was a bit more to choose from. Concluding, the Novotel Ambassador is a great hotel. Service is superb, however there some room for improvement.
