It was so delicious that I ate 4 dishes! If anyone is looking for Japanese food, I would confidently recommend it. First of all, this restaurant is popular because it serves the rare agedashi tofu (fried tofu in dashi broth). You should avoid it when you think of crispy fried food, but the fried tofu in Cup Ramen Fried Udon is so soft that it makes you feel like you're eating udon. You can't help but drink a glass of sake. Buri... It's delicious in other places, but it's plain. It's delicious. I will eat it 3 times! No, but up to 2 times? And although the heating karaage (Japanese-style fried chicken) is not traditional, the sweet sauce inside makes it appetizing. Later, while scooping up the sauce with a spoon, my mouth gets sore that I find myself reaching for a beer. Also, the nankotsu-age (fried chicken cartilage) salad is crazy.... When I see the part-time worker working hard to make the salad, my mouth starts watering, and when I see the menu and eat the cartilage and salad and feel the crunchy texture in my mouth, I don't even realize it. You'll find yourself sipping sake while dancing. But everyone, the sight and smell of the nabe ordered by the table next to me was crazy... Please try the nabe... please... Next time I go, I'll start with the tofu, followed by the fried nabe rice bowl... They actually sell it individually here. It's so delicious, just like a course meal... Be sure to try it. This is the place I go to in Sinchon when I want to eat raw fish. I go there really often with my husband haha. It's going to be hard to come when we move, so I'm going more in advance. I've been to just about every Japanese restaurant, but there's nothing like this value for money. Kaisendon is delicious, Negitododon is delicious, pollack roe spaghetti is delicious, Unis spaghetti is delicious, drinks are delicious, and the raw fish served on the seasonal menu is all delicious. Among them, the mackerel sashimi served in the winter is so delicious. You can't get this kind of taste anywhere for this price. And compared to other places, the sashimi is also very cheap. I highly recommend it. It's all delicious.

The Kaisendon was really delicious. The fried chicken was delicious, and the cabbage beef and pork belly nabe was very mild and delicious. I need to try all the other menu items next time~

Solid 4 stars just because the ambiance was a little weird like it’s hard to explain but the food was SO GOOD but a bit pricey. Super fresh sashimi.

I was in a good mood because I was really into the new song and choreography of my favorite girl group, GFriend. On my way to Hapjeong, I stopped by because I was curious about Kitchen 31's Kaisen Don, which I had saved for a long time after seeing Jo.'s review the other day. I'm always looking for a store that serves kaisendon like I see in Japan, without being flashy but using relatively high-quality ingredients without being gimmicky, but it's not easy to find. I arrived in front of the store in a good mood while listening to GFriend's new songs, Crossroads and Dreamcatcher. The store opened at 12 o'clock, not the usual 11 or 11:30, so I had no choice but to wait outside. Another of my favorite stores, Hokkaido Butadong Sumire right next door, was open, and it seemed like there were still seats, so I thought about stopping by again, but I decided to just wait a bit and have some Kaisendon, so I waited patiently. Hokkaido Butadong Sumire is so popular that there is quite a bit of waiting. At 12 o'clock, when the store door opened, I entered the store with another couple. There were four tables for four people, and there were two people, either the male owner and his wife or a female clerk, who greeted us warmly. I asked if I could sit at a table for 4 even though I was alone, so I was told to sit down, so I sat down and ordered Kaisendon without even looking at the menu. First, they brought us wet towels, and while we were waiting, a team of 4 customers also came in and everyone ordered Kaisendon. That's why they all prepared at once, so after about 20 minutes, the much-anticipated kaisendon came out. Kaisen-don is made with gamtae, which is used to wrap and eat Kaisen-don, clear soup with good shiitake mushroom flavor instead of the commonly seen miso soup, wasabi, gari, a Japanese pickled ginger, and soy sauce. When I looked at the Kaisendon, it contained tuna, salmon roe, sea urchin roe, sea bream, yellowtail, snow crab paste called kanimiso, sweet shrimp, etc. The sashimi was cut quite thickly and was good, but the sea urchin roe and especially the salmon roe were mentioned last time. I was a little disappointed because it was a small size, which was my first time experiencing salmon roe of such a small size. It's not that I don't like them because they're small, but it's because the smaller ones don't have a lot of flavor and the texture is plain. First, I dipped the sashimi in soy sauce and topped it with wasabi and floated it with the rice. However, the rice did not float easily, so when I looked closely, it felt a bit like rice cake, so I was a little disappointed once again. Still, the sashimi is good because it is all seasonal fish and thick. However, as expected, the salmon roe was small in size, so the taste and aroma were relatively bland and the chewing sensation was not noticeable, and the sea urchin roe also did not have the rich taste of sea urchin roe, which is as good as it looks, but was slightly bitter and not very flavorful. However, the clear shiitake mushroom soup that was served had a nice and clear shiitake mushroom scent, but the taste of shiitake mushrooms was subtle, so it was new and good. Please refill this as well. It wasn't a large portion, so when I finished it relatively quickly, I was served creme brûlée for dessert, and when I tasted it, the custard was soft and the caramel layer on top was lightly broken and tasted good. Overall, I stopped by to see if it was a kaisendon like in Japan, where even though it didn't have the fancy or very diverse ingredients I was looking for, the ingredients were just right. The sashimi was nice because it was sliced thickly, but it was added to emphasize the variety and luxury of the toppings. I was a bit disappointed with the salmon roe and sea urchin roe that looked like they were of poor quality, perhaps due to the price range. Instead, I liked the clear shiitake mushroom soup, which had a good shiitake mushroom scent and taste, and the crème brûlée that came as dessert, so I decided it was okay overall, but I stopped by at a different restaurant later. Comparing it to other Sendong restaurants, it feels like the chef-owner prepares it with all his heart and sincerity, rather than a sloppy Kaisendon with sashimi on top that feels like a shallow gimmick, so it's delicious again. I was in a good mood because I was really into GFRIEND's new song and choreography, which I like, so I stopped by with excitement, but the visit felt a little more disappointing than expected, but after listening to GFRIEND's new song, my mood got better again, and it felt like Godja's friend was giving me a bottle and medicine. It was an experience.
