The 24th Daegu Calligraphy Exhibition, organized by the Daegu Chapter of the Korea Calligraphy Association, awarded the grand prize to Kim Won-sik for his work in the Hanmun Haengchoseo (a form of cursive Chinese characters). The event saw 412 submissions from across South Korea, with 178 artworks receiving awards. The exhibition showcased a high level of competition, demonstrating the strong foundation of calligraphy art in Daegu. The award ceremony and exhibition of winning works will be held from March 25-30 at the Daegu Culture and Arts Center.
