Very nice staff, clean rooms, free laundry and good coffee. The only minor issue is that the window is a bit small so the room doesn’t get a lot of natural light. But absolutely acceptable for the price. We went early spring and the floor heating was great! The TV is massive too so you can enjoy a bit or Korean drama when it’s too cold to go outside. All in all great place! Thanks for the hospitality!

Honestly I was a little worried seeing the Google ratings after booking, but it wasn't as bad as I imagined. The rooms were relatively clean. Cleaning service is available depending on the number of days you are staying. I stayed 4 nights and was eligible for a one time cleaning. The only down side to the room I would say that it's small and the toilets were a little run down. The lounge area was stocked with instant coffee, tea and snacks. Loved that there were 2 laundry machines / dryers and detergent available for use for free, but you have to be early or lucky to use it as the lounge is closed from around 11pm to 9am. Staff was friendly enough and helpful in booking taxis for us to our next hotel. Location was fantastic! Although a short distance away from the train station but it's literally right next to Ikseondong!

This an old hotel. If you are not too fussy, this place is a great value. My biggest complaint is that the rooms are so tiny, there is barely room for luggage and people. No hooks, shelves, or any other way to help space be a little more manageble. And maintenance was a little lacking. We rented three rooms for two weeks. One had air conditioning and two did not. Those that didn't were very humid and stuffy. That said, the staff was extremely helpful and spent their days sorting out problems for guests, calling taxis, and recommending local amenities - always with a smile. The location is awesome - close to transit and walking distance to many attractions, great food, and local shops. If it weren't for the staff and location, we probably would have transferred to a different hotel.

The garden hotel is more of a hostel than a hotel. And as a hostel, it is pretty good. You get your own room, snacks, can do your laundry, small communal area, super helpful staff and extremely good location to see a lot of tourist areas. But it is not a 3-star hotel. The rooms are small, the beds are hard, and didn't allow us to sleep very well, and the bathroom itself is the shower. Which worked better than expected, but doesn't give you a lot of space to move around and requires more planning, since everything will get wet - so can't have any towels, or toilet paper or clothes in there. And generally, there wasn't a lot of space to put things. For the bathroom and beds, I have to deduct a star each, and another one since we found a lot of dirt in out of sight places - under and next to the beds, that were not super hard to reach. Price was great, and location is fantastic. But one should know these things, before making the choice to stay here.
