Although a major spring festival was canceled due to large wildfires nearby, the city ensured a pleasant visit by addressing issues such as illegal street vendors and traffic congestion, adding new attractions like photo spots, and maintaining local markets to boost the local economy. Despite the cancellation, the area remains a leading spot for cherry blossom viewing in the country.
