Ulsan Onggi Festival, recognized as the only cultural tourism festival in Ulsan selected by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, will take place from May 3 to 5 in Ulsan's Oeogosan Onggi Village, renowned as the largest onggi (traditional Korean earthenware) production site in Korea. Focused on community involvement, the festival will feature collaborations such as those between onggi artisans and Sunchang gochujang (Korean chili paste) masters. Additionally, the festival will offer enhanced experience programs like a large mud playground and the calming practice of 'bulmeong' (enjoying a fire pit). The festival highlights the active participation of local artisans and residents, aiming to boost the local economy and cultural appreciation.
