At the 75th Berlin International Film Festival, Norwegian director Dag Johan Haugerud's film 'Dreams' won the prestigious Golden Bear award. The film tells the story of Johanne, a teenager who falls in love with her female teacher, leading to a series of events when her writings are discovered by her family. This is the first Norwegian film to win this award. South Korean director Hong Sang-soo's new film was also featured in the competition segment but did not win any awards this year, despite his previous successes at the festival. Eight South Korean films were showcased at the festival, highlighting the country's strong film presence internationally.
