The Gwangju Cultural Foundation is seeking participants for its 'Saturday Permanent Performances' taking place in 2024. The performances, held at the Traditional Culture Center, aim to showcase traditional arts such as folk performance, dance, and Korean traditional music. Celebrating its 13th year, the event provides a platform within traditional Korean houses at the foothills of Mount Mudeung, allowing audiences to enjoy the beauty and excitement of Korean culture. The open call is for individuals and groups interested in genres like Pansori (Korean traditional storytelling vocal performance) and creative Korean music, with compensation available for selected performers. Applications are open until March 5th.
