Comfortable accommodations on Sunyu Parkside Weave Suites

At first I only planned to come to Korea in April to see the cherry blossoms, intending a slow trip of one to two weeks. But when looking for accommodation I found that April is peak tourist season because of the cherry blossom season, and with Taiwan’s Qingming holiday in April many people travel abroad then. On top of that there were various K-pop concerts in April, including BTS’s comeback concert, so finding a place to stay in Seoul was really hard. Any random hotel or Airbnb started at least 7,000–9,000 per night, and nicer hotels often topped 10,000 a night. Then I saw Creatrip offering a Long Stay plan, and after doing the math I realized that the cost of a few nights in a regular hotel would exceed a month on a Long Stay, so I decided to do a deep, month-long trip instead!
But booking Seonyudo's Weave Suites also involved some twists. I originally wanted to book a place near Jung-gu, where tourists usually hang out, but April was apparently just too competitive. After arranging all my plans and booking accommodation on Creatrip, I waited a few days before getting a reply saying there were no rooms because my reservation was canceled. I felt at a loss — I had already set up the rest of my itinerary, bought my plane ticket, and arranged my work, only to be told there was no accommodation. After communicating with Creatrip, they recommended Seonyudo's Weave Suites and confirmed there were still rooms available, suggesting I change my booking, which is how this stay finally happened.

The accommodation is just a short walk from the subway station exit, and there’s a bus stop right at the entrance with very frequent routes, so getting around is extremely convenient. For everyday needs, there’s a No Brand supermarket right across the street, offering great value on household items and food and drinks. There’s also a small Daiso inside the subway station, which is handy for picking up basic daily essentials.
After checking in I found the interior facilities and equipment really great, the outlets are plentiful, including USB outlets. There’s also lots of storage for a stay, with hidden storage under the bed and under the desk, and the room is very spacious, it’s truly ideal for a Long Stay, there’s even a Dyson hair dryer!
They also provide towels and toiletries, plus travel toothbrushes, indoor slippers, two laundry detergent pods, water, and coffee and tea bags. Housekeeping is once a week, but replenished items are limited, meaning they clean the room, refill toiletries, and replace towels. Other consumables like water, coffee, tea bags, toilet paper, and laundry pods won’t be restocked, but if needed you can buy them nearby at Daiso or No Brand supermarkets, which are very affordable.

Besides the private living spaces, B1 also has common areas you can use, including a gym, a yoga studio, a golf practice area, a large communal kitchen, and a lounge. The gym isn’t huge, but the equipment is fairly complete. You’ll often see people in the lounge working on laptops, zoning out on their phones, or chatting with friends over coffee. The overall decor is wood tones and soft colors, which feels very comfortable and relaxing.

In the shared areas I use the gym most often, and I’ve noticed many residents also have exercise routines so you’ll often meet others using it at the same time. There are cardio machines like treadmills, ellipticals, steppers, and rowing machines, strength-training equipment like dumbbells and kettlebells, and a free weights area. For a gym you can use without extra fees, the equipment is really well stocked.

Also, the surrounding environment and vibe are really nice, it’s very close to the Han River, and you can see lots of people heading that way on weekends. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants, and compared with areas full of tourists, this place is better for deeper travel and feels more comfortable to live in. If you’re thinking about doing a Long Stay in the future, this neighborhood is definitely worth considering, and I highly recommend choosing Weave Suites!
