Aroha was amazing accommodation for my trip to Seoul with my friends! The host was super gracious and helpful, even holding onto our luggage for bit at the end when we wanted to do some last minute shopping. The three of us shared a room with a full size bed and a bunk bed, and we had two shared bathrooms for the entire floor of 5 rooms total. At first I was worried about sharing the bathroom, but there was never a wait for one, they were clean, and basic essentials like body wash, shampoo, towels, and even toothpaste was provided.
There's a shared kitchen and lounge area in the basement which we took advantage of to eat some Korean fried chicken and watch movies one of the nights.
It's super close to the metro and bus stops, and there's even a 7-11 and Olive Young close by.
Aroha was perfect for what we needed, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul!5

if you are on a budget, this place is worth it, if you are looking to have a great time in seoul, the staff can help you reccomend places.
great hostel, you can meet different people here too.
after work, john, the working staff accompanied my group for late night excursions, ended up being friends and really gave great reviews on places for nightlife.
on our last day he told us different and easy accomodations to get back to incheon airport. basically he help my group for our last four days and really is a cool guy, great service,3

Was surprised by some of the other reviews, so here some explanation:
Price; there were cheaper hostels with lower review scores, so we had chosen this one with higher score but more pricy.
Nevertheless it is one we would expect to be among the cheapest.
For 10k more, a pretty luxury hotel with good breakfast is possible (different neighborhood, had been in such one other half of trip)
Breakfast; bread+jam and cornflakes in milk + juice/ coffee
That are the options. The 5/5 review for that without details is as such incomplete.
Room; tiny, but fine
Shower; multiple showers where there is a problem with the water (as mentioned on the paper)
Additional; luggage storage after check out as mentioned in other reviews2

I don’t recommend you to stay in this accommodation, the price is pretty cheap, compared to other guest houses in Seoul. But this guest house is unhygienic and you would see a few weird drunken ppl nearby,,,,, In addition, the man host asked weird questions when I stayed alone……. 할말하않..
